I've had my Bryston setup (Amp and preamp) for 21 years Still the best of the best.

Bryston has always stood behind their product. I own a 3B NPB that was checked over by Bryston about 8 years ago. I'm the 2nd owner and have owned a number of other Bryston amps and a pre-amp. Sonically speaking this 3B NPB is one of my favs so far. I also happen to appreciate the fact that Bryston is a Canadian company and while other's move their operations to China, Bryston won't budge from what I have learned about them.

THANK YOU BRYSTON... A LONG READ I have owned a Bryston 4B professional series sound amplifier for about 28 - 30 years; after 32 years of mobile DIsc Jockey service in the Hamilton and surrounding cities. When I purchased it in 1987 I thought it was a steep price, but the 20 year warranty offered by Bryston was a very assuring deal not offered by any other sound amplifier makers and the advantage of being made here in Canada, (Rexdale, Toronto at that time) where repairs and parts would be available immediately, unlike US & Japanese products that can have a lengthy and frustrating original parts waiting period. This amplifier not only offers outstanding sound quality and power at a gig, but a refined and remarkable performance in your living room at lower volume levels. After previously owning other world famous brands of amplifiers, I found they did not perform well at lower volume levels that are used in your house, therefore there was always the need of a home amp. Throughout the first 10 years of use and somewhat abuse, my Bryston 4B did need some minor repairs and parts replaced; I just brought it to Rexdale myself, and met the owner of Bryston, who personally took care of the issue and I was home bound in 45 mins with my amp fixed and "tuned up" and the biggest smile on my face! 10 years later, and on the verge of my warranty about to run out, there was another issue with it; unable to find the original receipt, I venture to their new location in Peterborough, Ontario, to get it repaired even if they would charge me for this work, due to the unavailable purchase invoice. This time I was met by one of their technicians who without questions took the amp in their repair shop, fixed the problem, and gave it their "tune up" inspection. For the past 10 years I only use the amp at home. This story gets better! 4 days ago, Friday December 23, 2016, the amp got sick again, (just a minor cold) but needed professional help. The warranty has expired, but I will not let a non Bryston technician touch the unit. So I headed to Peterborough this morning with hopes to get it checked to find that all of their technicians are off for this week; just the office staff were available... :-( I was heart broken; long 400 kms round trip in vane; The lady in the office suggested I leave the unit behind and as we were speaking, Bryan who I believe is one of the owners of Bryston and the gentleman who actually designed these amps and perhaps one of the owners as well, asked me what the problem was; after a brief explanation they took it off my hands, (no other questions asked) and brought it to their factory/repair shop. My 28 year old amp is now fixed and "tuned up" with only a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year greeting from them. I am a totally 100% happy customer.

My 40+year old 4B lost a channel Bryston replaced the power switch for a reasonable price Good for another 20 yrs. I love my 4B.

I'm finally going to go pick up my 4b and 11b tomorrow only because couriers are a different nightmare and this experience hasn't been pleasant. First off don't do service here in the summer because the people in the know always seem to be on vacation. After talking to the surly people skill lacking reception girl who answers the phone; do I really want anything to do with them? Not really, but refer to that courier issue. I'm screwed either way. Anyways they went ahead and serviced the units without a discussion I wanted on a structural defect that caused all the 4b warranty work in the past. When I took the top off of my 4b years ago to find the fuse it kept blowing and incurring courier charges for fuse replacement it was an obvious problem when the side plopped over. The unit was physically falling apart! I figured this service should find and fix that problem but this discussion never took place since the brains was on vacation, again. Well I am going to get a new system pretty soon and this experience answered my Bryston question. Not unless I get a real deal. Bryston makes a very good product not the greatest one imho. So I arrived early to get through Toronto traffic and Edna (the other receptionist) let me in early for a coffee and cake. I left before official opening hours with a better opinion than when I entered. Some good people work here.

I have owned many Bryston products over the last 20 years both new and used. Bryston is always helpful either in or out of warranty. Out of warranty pricing is more than fair. They are great via email and over the phone. Never hesitate to purchase any Bryston products. The resale is always easy and great and the service is top notch. Extra bonus points for Mike P. He has helped me many times over the years.

I purchased my Bryston combo, which enclude 4B³, BP-17³ and BCD-3 in Nov.2021 and I could not be more happy.I abolutely love the sound, design, craftsmanship, warranty and even the price.Bryston gear is long time investment and is worthed.
