Road coming in is gravel. I ride up from Courtenay on my KLR for lunch and a cold beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top RV campground, the best we have stayed in during our trip through BC and on vancouver island. Facilities are extremly good, a pitty we can't score a 6 out of 5. Moreover on our first day we saw 3 orca's, about 30 dolphins and a sea lion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth the dirt road rumble. What an amazing place. Our great pitch on the bluff gave us stunning views of a perfect harbour. RV park clean with many clean and modern facilites. If google provided more stars I would use them. Stay here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ripple Rock is on the short list of the finest RV parks we've ever stayed at. The drive in may be long and fairly rough, but I didn't find it unreasonable with my 51-foot-long combination. The RV sites are a reasonable size, the location is simply incredible, and all of the facilities are high quality and immaculate. We extended our stay by one day and wished it could have been more - I could sit there and watch boats go by all day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the floating suites on the marina. These suite have a full kitchen and ambiance by the bucket full. They are clean with a large balcony. You can watch the boats come and go and see the fishermen clean their catch. The floating restaurant beside the suites was casual dining but with good food. I loved this place.
