Good quality food and friendly staff. Loved the ribs!! The only disappointment was that they didn’t have chicken dishes except wings and chicken tender strips.

Second time here! Their smoked meats are incredible! We shared Nachos for lunch and added smoked meat. They drizzle a cilantro cream sauce over them and had lots of fixins all the way to the bottom of the skillet. Staff are very friendly and prices are reasonable.

Did nothing for me, sadly :/ Although this restaurant is supposed to be a mix of Quebec and Cajun cuisine, it fell short in many ways. Being from Montreal, I was expecting a lot from this place and it did not hit the spot. I ordered for take out the Jambalaya with a side of cornbread and the Montreal smoked meat sandwich. Let’s start with the smoked meat sandwich. My hopes were high as I read a lot of the reviews before coming to Brodeur’s. First, it taste nothing like Montreal’s smoked meat. The meat was under seasoned, under smoked, way too lean and way too dry, even though I ordered the regular meat and not the lean one. I do not want to know how dry the lean meat is. The saving grace of this sandwich was the delicious rye bread. It left me on a very dry mouth and sour taste. As for the Jambalaya it was ok, but nothing special. The spices are nice, more sausages than any other meat, cooked well, but it did not hit the spot for me. Question of preference I guess, or maybe I’m used to more authentic Cajun Jambalayas. The Wow of this meal, yes there is one, is the cornbread. Delicious, flavourful, buttery and soft. It saved my meal, and I’m not usually the biggest cornbread lover. It was that good. So, all in all a disappointment. This is the points I give to the whole experience: - Smoked meat sandwich 1/5 (I know I’m harsh, but please do not call it a Montreal style smoked meat sandwich when it’s Absolutely Not one) - Jambalaya 3/5 - Cornbread 5/5 (damn yummy) - Service 3/5 (because they completely forgot about our order, but they were still very friendly and nice)

We happened on this place by accident while driving about. A very pleasant surprise. Described as montreal/new Orleans cuisine and it was fun mix of not often seen flavour around town. The food was delicious, portions were very fair for the price and the desserts were $2.95 each which is unfathomable in this day and age. Not a 5 star because unfortunately the signature Montreal beef was kind of dry so if youre looking for authentic Montreal beef, this may not be it but overall, I would come back to further explore the menu. Pictured: Cuban sandwich, potato chunk poutine, Montreal beef sandwich and jambalaya. Dessert: mini begnet, creme brulee and apple crumble.

This place has amazing food, good size portions and friendly attentive staff. 27 different side dishes to choose from to add to youe meal, better than just fries or salad.

Just left here and had a really great experience. Got seated right away and our drinks right away. It looked busy so I was pleasantly surprised with how quick we got our order. Food was delicious. Waitress was extremely friendly. My 1 year old daughter had an awesome time! We have lived in mission for 2 years and I think we found our new go to spot. So glad I gave this place a shot. Realized when we got home that I left my boxes of leftovers and I am really sad ?

This is my favourite place to eat in Abbotsford, the prices are so affordable and the quantities are great. The desserts are so cheap but they taste amazing. Absolutely love their apple crumble. Super busy restaurant. The burgers are huge too.

Made the drive out here one night for a "quick dinner" and to try something new. This place was VERY busy! So this must be a good sign! They were packed full with over an hour wait. Luckily we got to sit immediately at the bar which was perfectly fine. We ordered the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, jambalaya with corn bread, side of mac and cheese and finished with dessert which was only $3!! The smoked meat was a little on the dry side, the jambalaya was very tasty with lots of sausages and chilis! The mac and cheese was sooo creamy and seasoned very well! Great service and great food!
