★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Regiment, Tenth Princess Mary's Own Gurkha Rifles, were on a month long exercise named Exercise Pond Jump West in July 1984.
The exercise was a success, and our time in Wainwright was very enjoyable. We were able to visit beautiful places mainly in Calgary.
I wish I could revisit those places before departing from this world!

Never got a taste for the Labatts though. Shout out to the lads who crewed the 434,s with me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ lived in Ralston 2000-2002. What should've been a fantastic posting turned out awful thanks to a lazy alky boss. Best thing was adopting my Siberian husky there and bringing her to Germany after I managed to get an early posting. I've delivered ammo to CFB Suffield a few times since I emigrated, when I was trucking, used to tune in to bfbs when I was passing by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Served there from December 1973 to June 1976 as a vehicle specialist in the RAOC , back then what you drove was issued from us , and all the equipment on those vehicles came from us. I was a driver of an ARV that in the winter loaded dead tanks onto rail cars for Vancouver .
