About Bright Tikes Preschool and Day Care Inc.
Our Philosophy is based on the Reggio Emelia pedagogy of learning within the confines of a structured day. We believe in transparency and we communicate effectively with the parents who entrust us to take care of their precious children. We believe in music and language and dramatic play. We believe in science and exploration. Most of all, we believe in the children and we will nourish both mind, body, and social skills.
Director Angie Izzard worked in childcare facilities in East St Paul and in Winnipeg for over 24 years. She pursued her Montessori certification while working as an ECE II. Recently, she graduated with her ECE III certification with honours. Ms Angie is excited to be working in East St Paul again.
Assistant Director Suki Brar worked in childcare facilities in Winnipeg while pursuing her Bachelor of Education. After 3 years of teaching high school science, she dedicated herself to early learning as she was always fascinated by the teachings of Maria Montessori and the pedagogy of Reggio Emelia. Ms Suki obtained her ECE III in 2018, and then returned to teaching but this time in early years. She left her job as an elementary teacher to open Bright Tikes Preschool and Day Care.

She is really passionate about teaching kids and I've watched my own children excel in elementary school thanks to her dedication to teaching. She is my children's favorite teacher hands down and I am excited her daycare is opening near our home. It will make pick ups and drop offs a breeze.
