★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this small piece of history. In a cove at Gabriola Island across from Mudge...orcas, dolphins, otters and eagles feed in these waters.
Lovely truly lovely!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourite beach on the island so far. Tonnes of historical bricks (hence the name) and lots of oyster shells. Great for shell collectors. Easy to find, lots of parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are so many red bricks on the beach with history of Nanaimo. Also find many huge Oysters. It's not the best beach but no one will ddisappoint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably not a beach you would go to hang out but it’s a nice place to see for once and ponder about the history of the region! There are a couple of benches on the side though so you can also picnic if need be. It’s hard to find a full brick, which I think is mainly because the visitors take them as souvenirs! But if you look closely you might find a full brick!
