Bredin Centre for Career Advancement

The line cook program at bredin has helped me tremendously. .I am now fully employed and the life and hands on skills I get to carry with me forever. I love this place.everyone is so awesome and helpful!!!

I really appreciate how caring the people are who work there. They offer one on one appointments and career counseling. They also have workshops every week to help devellop workplace skills.

My experience with Bredin Center is awful. Unfortunately, I met with Rayma and she didn't help me at all. I was asking her to help me with the resume and cover letter. I am not RECOMMENDING Bredin Center.

Bredin Centre for Learning...... what can I say..... they are AWESOME. Honestly, I just wish I had known about this wonderful complimentary service for ALL, young and old, a LOOOOOONG time ago! The staff here is exemplary, and I do mean that. These wonderful human beings will help you when you are down for sure. They actually notice your absence. With all the people that go through there, I'm quite astonished that they take the time to call you and check to see if things are OK. Very personable service. They definitely make you feel as though you ARE a contribution to society. There isn't one person that I have come across that was too busy to assist me in my needs, they do not make you feel inadequate. (when it comes to using a computer...... well let's just say that I am getting better because of my time spent at Bredin...heheheh) People come here for a reason, to get back on their feet/change their goals in the work force. Transitioning in life, maybe a new career? This is the place to be, they will definitely be there for you with answers, personal assessments, leads to other areas of needed support. Multiple job postings which are updated daily, and someone to design your resume, just so long as you have the information, they have the know how to pull it all together for you in a professional manner. All at no cost to you. If I have but one criticism it would be to change the title and find a better word to use instead of "Learning"; just one word to encapsulate all that they do for us as individuals. They also have group sessions where in which you meet people from all walks of life whom are in the same position as oneself. There is support out there for everyone, all you need to do is find it. Well I found it.... and that is at Bredin Center for Learning.

I am very pleased with my experience at Bredin. Also Grateful I was one of the selected to be involved in the training program and the skills and knowledge I was given. Thank you Danielle Turner ( line cook co ordinated) for everything. I would recommend bredin and it wealth of programs and services to anyone!!!

Rhonda, was my main go to gal. She was very helpful, with all aspects of the "Complete employment process". She is very knowledgeable, calm, caring and very considerate. A very professional lady, who goes above and beyond to help with ALL your employment needs. The services available are incredible if you take advantage of what they offer. I Would Recommend Bredin Employment Center to anyone, whether your recently out of employment, or long term. They care, and are available to help one better themselves, if wanted.

Ashleigh & Rhonda were very consistent in assisting me while I was searching for a job. They helped me build a well put together, strong but brief resume, which was key in getting my experience & knowledge presented to my current employer. I have a full time job right now, with a good wage in the medical/social support field. The only thing I did not find helpful at all was the computer exercises to improve my essential skills, they can be time consuming and not beneficial at all. Other than that I am grateful for the help offered at Bredin & would recommend 100% for someone who is struggling with a job search.

Rae-Anne was an angel and was one of the best workers I've ever worked with!! She's given me so so much hope for my future and I cant thank her enough. It's been a real struggle trying to find a job suited to my disabilities so she hooked me up with Cosmos!!! I'm positive I'll flourish now!!!
