★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are from wpg, went for a drive, stopped in for a bite to eat. Was the best food I've had in long time. The fries were fantastic, taco salad was huge. Sandwiches were delicious! And the price was even better! Thanks for a great lunch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp tonight. It was completely bland. I wouldn't be surprised if the dish was prepared through the microwave. Wasn't even salvageable with salt and pepper. But our server was very apologetic, took it back and brought me fries instead. A few minutes later the manager I assume (because she didn't introduce herself) came storming to our table like sea biscuit and firmly asked why I didn't enjoy my meal. When I told her why. She responds, "well I sold 5 of those today and none of them came back!". Whoever she was I found her borderline aggressive and quite rude. *SIDE NOTE: French fries were home-made and very tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First off it took 45 mins for the food the menu had no prices on it so it was a huge shock on the bill afterwords. For a salad with like 5 small things of chicken costing almost 20 bucks, To a small rack of ribs costing almost 40 is crazy. Not to mention my dads meal not being edible. My boyfriend and I are new to carman and we will never go back there or recommend it to anyone we know do to poor food, and not knowing the price of the food before ordering bc the menu has NO PRICES ON IT. If there was a number lower then 1 star I would choose that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing experience and will not be back. Decor very dated to start and very over priced. Ordered burger off kids menu and it came with nothing on it, literally an over cooked and dry patty and a bun. Ordered the broccoli and cheese soup, she stated they were out. She then returned with our food and said they found more soup. I'm guessing they found it outside as it was ice cold. Also found what appeared to be a hair in the fries. On the plus side the fries and gravy and the fish were decent. I addressed our concerns when paying the bill and no discounts were offered, very disappointing. Overall I do not recommend eating here, save your money and eat elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove by Carman yesterday on the way to Morden and stopped in Breakaway Family Restaurant & Lounge for brunch! Food was amazing, portions were huge, staff was awesome! We tried their Deluxe Crispy Chicken Fillet, Battered Haddock, and Salisbury Steak & Eggs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed a delicious lunch here at #BreakawayFamilyRestaurant. I had the special today of Homemade Chicken fingers and a Cesar salad. Wow. The fingers were fresh cut up chicken with their own special batter. It was juicy chicken with a crispy coating with the rights seasoning and flavours. The Ceasar salad was great as well. Service was lovely. I enjoyed my experience. And you will too. Keep eating local and support your local businesses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So called lunch special was 18.95 for a hot roast beef sandwich with one scoop of mashed potatoes and luke warm broccoli.
Absolutely ridiculous. Where am I ? This ain't no Keg. No soup or salad included.
