We bought flowers for our Granny's funeral, as she just passed away. Picked our a bouquet in a vase that we felt was appropriate and picked out the highest price available for this arrangement. My family sent us photos of the order, which arrived early.It was supposed to have roses but it arrived without any. Also I was told that they had used carnations instead and "added more". The photos showed a bouquet that was not much bigger by any means and indeed no roses. Upon calling the florist I was vocal about not being consulted about the availability or changes. I was told that two roses would be delivered with a note as soon as they could go deliver. My family informed me that they are having other issues with the florist as well and that it's the only one in Carman, Manitoba. I find their services unprofessional and insensitive considering that they are aware that this is for a family funeral. I paid over $100 and it was not worth the price.

Curb side pickup while I was in town. Called, waited only a few minutes and my gingerbread latte was out waiting for me :). Contactless pay. Love supporting local if I can! Latte was delicious!

These guys knocked my wedding flowers out of the park! I was SO happy with their attention to detail and the flowers were better than I imagined! Great work and a special thanks to Elaine for sending me photos during the process and making sure I got exactly what I wanted (and more!) Amazing job!!!

It’s been a difficult year for my husband and I – pandemic border restrictions have kept us apart for a year now (except for one visit), and although we had hoped my husband could at least come soon for the birth of our baby, recent harsher border restrictions have dashed that hope. So my husband wanted to buy me my favourite flowers – daffodils – to cheer me up. Last year he ordered a beautiful bouquet of daffodils from Carman Florist, but this year when he called and asked if he could order them he was told that they were unwilling to order in daffodils because people can buy them at the grocery store and they didn’t want to take away from cancer fundraisers. So my husband requested a bouquet with yellow flowers and other bright colours. When I went to pick up my bouquet, I was surprised to receive an arrangement of pale fall-like/antique-like colours – pale yellow, pale peach, and even a brown flower. To be honest, the colours didn’t even complement each other – and they certainly weren’t the “bright coloured” bouquet my husband had requested. I contacted Carman Florist to let them know of the situation, and was shocked when they did not acknowledge their mistake or try to rectify the situation. Instead, they said, “You are correct that we do not have daffodils on hand in store- we just can't compete with matching the price that chain stores (Coop) can charge per bunch & we also don't want to take away from the yearly Cancer fundraiser here in town. However, I offered to bring them in for your husband with next week's flower order. He declined waiting until next week.” This is untrue – my husband said they never told him that waiting a week was an option. There was no rush on this order and he would have gladly waited until next week to be able to get my favourite flowers. They also said, “It is unfortunate that you didn't like the pale colour palette. The salmon (brown) coloured cremones are a top seller in here but we understand they aren't always for everybody. We also understand that our style & palette designs aren't for everyone & that some people will choose to take their business elsewhere because of this.” We like to support local, but not receiving the product you paid for, and then being told it’s your fault for not liking “their” style/colour preference is highly unprofessional and so unfortunately we cannot recommend this business.
