Nice place to stroll around if you are dog lover you will enjoy like anything so many dogs

I find this location has gone downhill since they switched sides of the parking lot. It’s rarely maintained and my dog hurts herself on stumps or other debris almost every time. Space wise it used to be great in the old location as it had the hill and a great deal More area to roam (without random hazards) and it had water available etc

The baseball diamonds are fine but the city needs to fix the uneven pathways to get to them. It's been like this for years and it's a pain to walk on them

Today (Monday, May 31) I went to the Bramalea Ltd Community Dog Park. I go to this dog park often, usually in the evening. Today I arrived at 2:30pm, took kadhu (Havanese) inside. I noticed quickly there was a group of primarily retired dog owners that were all hanging out together on one end of the park at a picnic bench, all small dog owners. . . Approximately 30 minutes later, my friends Shania and Ajay arrived with their 8 month old Rottweiler; Rambo. Rambo always plays in the ‘small dog park’ area. He’s a very timid, and friendly puppy, and even surrounded by a sea of small dogs, he usually picks the calmest one, and sticks to that one dog the whole time he’s there. Ajay and Shania have tried many times to integrate him with bigger dogs on the other side. However, they always come back. He cannot keep up with the high energy of larger dog breeds. Please note- when we go in the evening, no one has an issue with Rambo being on the ‘small’ side. There are always other big dogs there too. Sometimes they are older (10-12 years old) big dogs, that like Rambo, cannot keep up with hyperactive large dogs. . . Before I continue with the story, there are a few things that need to be understood. 1. There are 2 signs. One sign is a city sign that has the rules listed for the dog park. The second sign says ‘small dog park’. There is NO sign that says ‘large dog park.’ This also raises many questions, what about medium dogs? What is the weight limit to be considered a small or large dog? What are the height limits? Etc. 2. There are many dog parks all over the GTA. Not every dog park is divided up as ‘big’ and ‘small’. Some dog parks have different sections for different purposes. If you want to socialize your dog, you can take him/her to the main dog area, however, if you want to train your dog, there are more private sections of the dog park for that purpose. Dog parks have never discriminated against the size of the dog. . . When Rambo came, the other people at the park instantly picked up their ‘small’ dogs. And one Karen approached and very rudely and aggressively advised that this was a small dog park. We went to explain to her that we come to this park often and it’s never been an issue. We also explained that Rambo is friendly, and doesn’t integrate well with big dogs. She kept speaking over us, not listening and continue to maintain her narrow-mindedness. Ajay called her a Karen, and she went on to comment that Ajay is ‘ugly’ (please note Ajay is growing out his hair and beard to follow a path of Sikhi), and she continued to say that he’s only at the park to show off in front of us girls (Shania and I, and by the way, Shania is Ajay’s girlfriend). This Karen’s argument was that big dogs have big paws and can claw a small dog. And I know all small dog owners can relate, that some small dogs are feisty, kadhu is a prime example. He a small dog and doesn’t know it. I always say that dogs playing methods are a lot like children who love to wrestle. Anyway, she called us names, and was joined by a fellow Karen, who joined her in being belligerent and childish. I advised her that we’re leaving, but calling the city to find out exactly what the rules are. . . We called the city while in the parking lot. The agent advised that there are no rules for the limitation on the size of dogs. She said there are rules, which she emailed us and are the same rules on that first sign I mentioned earlier. We asked her if we should return to the park, she advised us to come back tomorrow (Tuesday, June 1) and she would send an officer to educate the individuals who are essentially bullies and acting as if they are the owners of the park. . As someone who deals with anxiety on a daily basis, this was extremely distressing and triggering. I was shaking in anger and frustration and more importantly the belief that all dog people are nice people, was broken.

Biggest fenced park for off leash dogs I have ever seen! It's so big that everyone can be socially distant and at the same time watch dogs do their thing! Car park is right in front of it. They also have a dedicated small dog park as well.

Has several dogs for play throughout the day. Gets very muddy when it rains or snow melts. Your dog will get very dirty. Has tables, water in the Spring to Fall and a Sutra for waste. Also provides poop bags. There is no shelter. There is also walking paths around.

Very nice open & big parks... 2 parks divided by a fence one for small breeds & the other one for every size.. has benches both sides.. must visit if you own a dog or you like dogs

Great community park with fenced areas separate for small/medium dogs and large dogs. One can also walk their pet(s) around the trail. Awesome place to have your BFF run around and socialize with other dogs and people.
