Complete hack job that had one of the tailpipes rubbing against the bumper and the other drooping close to the ground.
Charged labour for time spent waiting for extra muffler clamps because they ran out and had to stop working.
Did not want to tack weld joints made up of multiple sections of pipe to adapt 2,1/4 to 2,1/2 pipe, felt confident that their hack job wouldn't fall apart.
Leaked like a sieve.
Went to Minute muffler to have them repair the damage done to my car. For an added cost of $140, they cut all the clamps off and re-did all the piping, welded everything 360 degrees around and made sure the exhaust pipes were aligned properly.
I gave Brake check every chance in the world to prove themselves and the owner rewarded me with terrible and overpriced work, extremely disappointing as I generally try to support small shops.
I cannot recommend a shop that confidently sends this kind of work out the door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brake check is under new ownership! And they are AMAZING! They are fast and thorough and very affordable. It's nice to finally find a repair shop you can trust and to not be worried about how much they are going to charge. I highly recommend them! You won't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gentleman was very friendly and got my car in fairly quickly. They were alright with installing parts that I supplied where majority of shops denied me. They did a good job at installing the parts and the bill was a very reasonable price. I don't usually trust auto repair shops to be honest with repairs but I trust the mechanic at Brake Check.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has no idea what they are doing, they drink in the shop, talk to female customers poorly, leave bolts lose or missing, you can't get any warranty out of them! if you feel like wasting your money and having your vehicle damaged then this is your place!!! Disrespectful hack shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small friendly auto shop that does excellent work. I've had them do several repairs for me and have always been treated kindly. Cole is very professional and hard working, and I found that Brake Check offers some of the best rates in town. The even offer a small military discount which basically saves the tax on parts and labor.
They're always able to get me a prompt appointment, and quick service. For those looking to support small business, this is one worth supporting.
