L	Logan Krupa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During the winter, the rink at Braeside is often less busy than nearby alternatives. The community hall is often not open, so a warm place to tie skates is often not an option. (Go to Haysboro if you need that) Also, during the summer, the rink at Braeside is paved smoothly, so it's good for ball hockey/inline hockey. Theres also a couple basketball courts, but the pavement is cracked, and two of the nets only have rims with no chains/netting.
G	Guy Plecash on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Playing for the house band, the Beagle Boyz at the Saturday Night Special folk club. Sold-out venue since I started with them in the '90's. For good reason! World-class headliners in a homey little hall. Good regulars and well-nigh superpowered volunteers. Shows one Saturday per month (..well, sometimes 2) through Fall and Winter. Also, season ticket holders will make their tickets available if a family thang comes up and they can't make it. Have faith! They'll fit you in more often than not.

We booked a hall through this company for my baby shower . The pandemic happened. Cool . We cancelled and we’re told we would get a refund . Cool. I messaged them asking when it would be refunded . They said the week of the 20-30th I would get it , as their accountant wasn’t in till then. ITS MAY!!!!!!! We have yet to revive our money back. They keep giving excuses, and won’t reply , or send us the money back. DO NOT RENT THIS HALL. Terrible . Terrible . Service .
T	Tammy Reynolds on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Air conditioning was broken and there is no wheelchairaccessible entrance or working elevator, so it was super hot and sticky during my son's wedding. Other than that it's a great place for capable bodies.
