Brae Island is a great place to camp. The campsites are large and clean. There are well maintained facilities and helpful attendants for any information you may need. The campsite is on the Fraser River with natural setting walks on either side. The trails are easy and dogs are welcome. Brae Island is a 5-10 minutes walk to Fort Langley with a variety of shops and great restaurants and coffee shops. There is even a Brew Pub. We totally enjoyed our 5 day stay.

Can't get enough of this place. The Tavistock trail is a beautiful relaxing trail with easy signs to follow and the picnic areas are relaxing. At the entrance is a bathroom and it is well kept. When the tide is low, you can walk halfway around on the beach. The trails allow cycling as well.

Great family area by the Fraser River. Easy access for picnics, bike riding, walking and bird watching. Level area with lots to look at all year round. There is a nice picnic area and a RV park here with a shared walking and riding path that is wide and flat.

It's a clean park with lots of trails. You have the option of going down to the river or into the forest. There's lots of parking here and it's a great alternative for a quieter walk if you are going into Fort Langley for a walk and some food. Walk here and then walk to the many close by restaurants and cafes.

We love Brae Island! In warm weather, we take a picnic lunch or dinner to the beach and the kids play in the water, build sand castles and have a great time. All year round, the path out to Tavistock Point is accessible for walking or biking. When we time it right for low tide, the kids love to play in the mud and climb in the bushes along the shore. It is always clean and well-managed and is a wonderful day out for our family.

I enjoyed this beach! It’s a great beach to cool off, go for a dip, and enjoy time in the sun with friends and family! Lots of beach space, and it’s also in a good location right near Fort Langley! Check this place out if you would like to go for a swim, or even have a picnic!

Today we came here around 3 PM on a Sunday. Very sunny day so we decided to go to Fort Langley to this island park. Not a lot of parking available but we were able to find once we came here. Lots of people jogging, couples, and families. It has a nice mix of sandy beaches great for kids playing in the water, lots of nice concrete table for barbecue. Average view with a passerby train every 15 minutes in a distance. There is a washroom by the parking lot with the recycling and garbage can nearby. Trails was spacious, flat with lots of room to see the beautiful sky. Great park to come by especially Right next to the historic Fort Langley city with cool shops and pubs. Will definitely come back again for nice picnic under the sun.

A river runs through it. Well it rained alot. Maybe they could stop the rain next time I go. The bathrooms were clean. The shower ran hot water more than 12 minutes according to my watch. Nice walking trails and the local pub is close. Good place for the family to camp and shorten my commute for the week. No complaints.
