★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Rona Bradford today to pick up 5 sheets 1/2 MDF, The order was filled quickly since I called this morning requesting 8 sheets. When I got there a kind gentleman on the phone said he would bring out my paperwork and indicated that the order was over there on the skids. As I loaded the sheets I noticed one was badly damaged by the forks, so I called inside and spook to this person who must have been having a bad day or is always an Ahole. He told me I should be home instead of buying MDF, , where would he be if people like me didn't buy from Rona...because of this treatment he blew a lot of future business. I feel sorry for the good people working there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worse experience going out in ‘the new norm’. Greeted badly as soon as we walked in. I was trying to be empathetic being an essential worker having worked since the pandemic was declared, but the employee who was at the counter was beyond rude. Let it go because I do understand the anxiety people are feeling. However went the next day because we have always shopped at this particular lumber yard for 35+ years and the treatment was worse than the day before. All I can say to the very rude stressed employee is why are you going out to work? And I certainly hope you were not treated the way you’re treating Rona customers when you had to go to get groceries and alcohol!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome service with curbside side pick up called for some wood products. Got there all ready in a pile no waiting like these big box's stores. Contractors this is the place to shop. Great job guys in these difficult times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not recommend them at all, pricing on the website for Rona 2x4x8 shows $8.99 per item, I checked my bill after and found out they charged $13.45 per piece. Called them to discuss this and there answer is ''that is the best part about being independent'' we can charge whatever we want. You got your wood in 2 hours so be happy! Tried to explain to him that $13.45 for a 2x4x8 was a rip off and they said they can charge whatever they want and they are in business to make money. Be very cautious in dealing with this company. I understand costs have gone up but when all your competitors are $4 - $5 lower than you per piece that is what I call Covid price gouging. Home Depot had my order ready in 2 hours and at a price of $8.79 per piece.
Update: Contacted head office and they are unable to do anything as the stores are independently owned, they did agree this is very odd that the Bradford store removed the price from the website at there location but is showing stock and selling at there own price as in store sale only and at a much higher price then other Rona stores and Rona competitors. They are not able to do anything as it was not an online order but agreed some odd business practices are happening at this location and were shocked to hear the store did not correct the issue. As well, contacted three other Rona locations just to make sure I was not wrong and received pricing from them for $8.99 per piece in line with the website and what head office told me.
Having looked into this further and seen the unethical business practices this store is running. I think this raises serious red flags.
