NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP!!!!They won't take care of your car and won't be responsible for it. I left my car there for tire change and some belts change. They said that gonna take 2 days to get the job done. After 3 days I went to check how's going on and found my car got scratch and they made the key of the wheel lock lost!!!!! They asked me to pay for what they done. They denied that they did and not even said a SORRY. I have all the pics before and after I left my car there. They even threat to sue me. Never seen ppl like them. Really poor service. Really poor Attitude. The shop locates in a narrow back alley where lots of cars drive through every minute. They just leave customer's cars outside in the alley. They damaged my car, OK, no problem. Let's find out how to solve it. But they are liar and don't care of customers. OK, then go to hell. Have a try if you want to waste money and time!!!

I was unable to start my car as it had been sitting for an extended period of time. I called BCAA and they were also unable to start. They said it was not that the battery was dead but rather at the very least the starter was not working and maybe something worse. I had the car towed to Bowma at the end of the day and told them it was a starter problem. When i called them the next day they asked me what the REAL problem was as they started it right away after charging the battery and that there was no problem. They could have easily have claimed to have changed the starter or the battery and I would never have known. Kudos to them and I was a bit embarrassed, but happy!

If you want convenience... and live in Central Richmond...and on a budget.this is the place...always busy...they do try their best to accommodate and diagnose the issues. Somewhat wheelchair accessible...reasonable pricing...

AVOID at all costs. I used to go here all the time and refered several of my friends over the years. However there was an incident once where the owner tried to rip off of my friend with a completely unnecessary repair. The owner told my friend that he needed a new alternator + installation /labor when it turned out in the end that all his car needed was a jump start. We were somewhat suspicious so we demanded that the shop give us the old alternator so we could get our deposit back on it ourselves. They begrudgingly agreed after much debate. We verified that the old altornator was working perfectly fine at another mechanic and an alternator shop as well. When we went back and confronted the shop owner, he panicked then quickly claimed ignorance but we asked him "is this how I make your money?" in the end, out of shame he didn't charge us anything for the part and labor. We never went there again.

I repaired my truck about 1 year ago, they did the job but just charged me same price as the dealer. And I had to take a risk for no full warranty coverage since only parts coverage. The story is not ended here. The reason to give 2 star is they didn't honest to the quote price. That is a big problem for consumers. The boss wrote me a quote parts + $400 labor fee to do the repair job plus oil change service when I was first walking in. Few days later after the parts arrived and job completed, they all told me never saying $400 and never quote that low price! End up I was stuck and had to let them charge $550 + tax for the labor cost. I believe it is same price as the dealer but this is only a small and dirty car repair shop! One year later, when I cleared up my truck, I was surprised to find their original quote in my insurance paper pouch. They wrote $400 on the paper. They just seems like a thief to take their client money. I believe only their boss having the licence to do all the jobs. The workers that fixing your car has no licence and cheap pay. It is not worthy for the money when charging $100 per hour, and plus you have to hold the quotation in the wallet when you want to keep the same price. People better no going there for car service except you have to. Always make sure you won't be screw up by those non honest guys.

John, the owner, recommended the LED head lights for Honda Fit since one and a half year ago, parts and labour charged $200 plus tax. Recently, one of the lights was not working but the owner John was so rude and refused to offer the replacement under warranty. Instead, I was being lectured that it is my mistake of purchasing LED system. He stated that original head lights should be used according to Honda Canada. John did not even recall where did he order the LED light system from the third party that time, due to no data entry stored at the store. Integrity is the most important to be a mechanic other than just price. Enough is enough. I will not return to John for any business. And will not recommend anyone there too.

Garbage mechanic, literally. John (owner) is extremely racist and treats non asian customers like trash. Not to mention, he does not know what he is doing and changed unnecessary parts.

I've been going to John's for a long time and recently switched mechanics cause the same issues kept reoccuring over and over again (all of which we've brought to John to take care of). At first it was just meant to be a second opinion really but they found out that my car's been tampered with. There are certain parts you could argue is just a sloppy job, etc but one part is literally missing and removed. The new mechanic confirmed that this was most likely done by a person. This pretty much garuntees that I will keep having issues and keep coming back to get my car serviced over and over again. Disgusted and disappointed. Literally a money gouge. Would not recommend or trust them ever again.
