C	Carole Baker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boulton House has a lovely location and friendly servers but the food is consistently disappointing. Last summer the excuse of the pandemic gave them some forgiveness. But during our most recent.. and it will be the last.. visit, the burger, salads and pulled pork sliders lacked taste and were dry and overcooked. The Caesar salad and garden salad were uninspired. Too bad because we were looking forward to the trips from Ottawa to Carleton Place to enjoy the view, but will not bother again.
M	Mark Chandler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grabbed some takeout as it was the only option due to covid. We had the steak and chicken Parm. The portion sizes were massive and cooked to absolute perfection. All the food was very hot and the interactions we did have with staff were very polite and helpful to any needs we may have had. As a chef myself I absolutely recommend this place and I know I will be returning! Thank you!!

My husband enjoyed a chicken parm sandwich. The service was nice and friendly and the view of the river was lovely. The menu had lots of options. We are looking forward to going back for dinner sometime.
L	Leanne Nguyen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem in Carleton Place both for the food and the views! It has an incredible water backdrop if you’re on the patio and inside is a bougie, modern atmosphere. I’ve been here a few times now and have not been disappointed- food and service has great every time. Ribs are fall off the bone and calamari was a different recipe on two separate occasions (one we liked and the other wasn’t much of a fan of but will give it credit for the creativity). Would highly recommend.

But they noticed I barely touched it and didn't charge me for it. The service was fantastic. The quality-price value was above expectations. Well done!
