★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Either this place sells their empty boxes to my local grocery store and they sell a lower quality or their apple pie is not good at all. Tastes the same as canned apples. What a waste of money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bakery is a cornerstone of this town and coming for breakfast here is one of our favourite traditions. The pies are ok - too much sugar for our tastes, but still five stars in our eyes for the friendly staff and sense of community this place builds. The quality and variety of breads and pastries is really what is worth coming back for. Good lunch specials as well.

Their customer service is also quite supportive. I had an experience with another product and they compensated with a higher-value coupon. They are great respected people in the customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Note that the location here on Google Maps is just the factory where the pies are made. You cannot buy the actual pies here. That being said, the pies are perfectly average. The other reviewers are correct when they say that the quality has gone downhill. There is nothing special about these pies and with a little practice and patience, you can probably make better pies at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the very best, best pecan pies I ever had. I love the filling to pecan ratio! Most pecan pies I find have way too filling. The filling is the perfect amount, and the crust is crispy. Everyone loves it in my house. I will only buy St. Donat's pecan pie because it is that good.
