I have nothing nice to say about this place. The entire staff was so nice and welcoming. The owner however, has no manners... I ordered a cake for my father's 50th birthday for January 12th. I ordered the cake a couple of weeks in advance. As you can see from the picture below, I wanted the bow from the 1st picture, the Navy blue color from the second picture, a 3 layered cake from the third picture for about 75 people. We finalized everything and signed the paper. The second time we went, we changed the portion to 50 people. The person who was taking the details said everything is noted. The fourth picture is the cake that I received. You cannot imagine the deception on my face when I saw the cake that i received. It was a party and I wanted the cake to be PERFECT because it was a golden jubilee. Believe me when I say , I did not want my father to cut the cake. I called the bakery on January 13th and explained my situation. I was offered a very low compensation, i was not happy. When I asked to speak the owner, he mentioned to me that I should have signed the paper again. When I told him that the person did not ask to sign the paper, his answer was... " Oh! you should have known." I asked him, well how was supposed to know if the person didn't mention it. He was very rude. He was putting the blame on me, saying i did not communicate well with the person, but he did write all the updates in his file. The owner told me he would contact me within 2 weeks, even though the bakery was going to be under renovation. He never did. he didn't think it was important to call to let me know the updates on my file.I called him back after 3 weeks and after arguing for more than 45 mins, he gave me a little more than the compensation that I was offered at the very beginning. He even hung up on me because I told him to give me a few seconds to discuss about the compensation with my sibling. When I called back, he said he was busy, and that I should be quick. I could go on and on about our conversation. He was not a pleasant man to have a conversation with. We finally accepted that little compensation that was offered but the fact remains that it was NOT A PROFESSIONAL JOB. I gave it a star only because the staff is nice, everything else.. the picture of the cake received speaks for itself. I'd think twice before ordering there again.

My favorite Montreal bakery where I grab the best Almond Croissant ? in town. Great place to buy different kind of bread ? ? and also to grab a fresh sandwich ? or dessert ? Prices are reasonable considering the quality you get.? Place is located close to the Molson park and they have a nice outdoor terrasse during the summer!

Overall underwhelming. The true star was the Almond Chocolatine, clearly the chocolate is a winner at this place. Another cool thing is portions are ENORMOUS. The Kouign Amann was nice, pretty straightforward. The lemon tart is pure lemon, interesting crust too. Maple croissant was extremely sweet. I love the most ridiculously sweet things and this was too much for me.

Tried croissant, gluten free brownie, sablé nature and madeleines natures, all of them are very pleasant. Will go again and try more!

Good croissants, but unfortunately really bad service. The lady behind the counter was very rude and had this prejudiced look on her face when you want to ask for something or order something. Unfortunately, I have stopped going here because of the snobbiness of the staff. I would walk down a bit further and go visit Joe La Croute by Jean-Talon market. People there are much nicer.

Their breads are incredible, especially the one with sun-dried tomatoes. Service was very fast considering the lineup. The lemon-basil cake was good, but a bit too sweet for me. 4.5 stars

Classy delicious place for sweet bread. Just a little pricey $$$$$ but worth it. Took my cousin and his wife, visiting from Alberta, they left totally charmed and amazed by the tasty treats.
