★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite bakery in Montreal. Authentic, artisinal without pretense. Their camut, whole-wheat and spelt sourdoughs are unequaled. This is the healthiest bread you can buy. As a iddm diabetic, I found their breads cause very few sugar spikes and is reliable to carb-count. They also have some home-made tarts and p.butter in the sides, but their main thing is the sourdough bread which exceeds anything I remember in San Francisco in the 70's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ among other things, they sell whole grain flours that have been freshly milled that very morning. Unless you have your own mill at home or have access to one, you have not experienced fresh whole grain flours; if you like to bake definitely check them out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest & healthy food that I always feel good about buying and eating. I can tell the ingredients aren’t cheap, and he isn’t getting rich from this, but he’s making a difference. My favourite is the cranberry, reine Elizabeth and carrot muffins. Will try the rest of their items soon :)
