Great bakery, friendly staff, a nice selection of cakes and desserts. I pre-ordered some cakes for a special event and spoke to the pâtissier who made some recommendations and prepared some really delicious cakes and pies everyone loved. Thanks for the great service !

High quality ingredients, professionally made. We bought a range of cookies and cakes that were fresh and delicious when we bought them mid afternoon. The owner does not speak English, but was very friendly and complimented me on my poor French speaking skills. I would definitely return if ever I was in the neighbourhood.

Most definitely some of the best pastries I've had in over 20 years. Found this place by fluke, last minute Sunday night, one of the few pastry shops open on the east side of Montreal. Amazing quality, the best pastry cream I've tasted ever, bar none! Definitely worth every penny! As my work experience in catering, restaurants and fine cuisine spans 30 years, I'm not easily impressed. Most of the time, I'm quite passive. But these pastries are to die for! Truly impressive pastry chef, Chapeau!

Delightful little bakery with delicious fresh pastries and great service. I had a chocolatine aux amandes and a mille-feuille and both were delicious (still are, I'm eating them as I write this review). The owner gave me a discount on the mille-feuille as it was the last one from the previous day, but it still tasted fresh. (Side note, most places wouldn't be honest enough to offer you a discount on an onlder item, so very kind!). The chocolatine was buttery and had just the right amount of chocolate oozing out - it was a perfect morning treat. I'd highly suggest this down-to-earth neighbourhood bakery in the village. It reminds me of older bakeries in Europe and is very charming. You'll be served by a bubbly-smiley owner who clearly cares about his clients. Go support this local gem of a bakery!

I initially really liked this place, but last time we went the place had an intense musty odour. To our surprise, the desserts we got last time also had a funny musty smell...

Damn ,I love baklava, trying all kinds all over the island of Montreal, this one place is 5 stars right now,and can't wait to go back and eat more--it is better than that top rated place in Ville St.Laurent..you know the place amazing decor, water fountain...you need to go to this spot because there are so many other desserts to try.

I completely agree with the other comments that the quality is lacking. It's very industrial as others have said. I've tried the baguettes and they are almost worse than the grocery store (very bland and uniform texture like bagged white bread). After avoiding this place for years, I thought to try the sweets. I tried the eclair and the filling tasted like cheap boxed pudding with a bad aftertaste. The almond croissant was really good but the danoise was not. The dough was lacking in flavor. I'm not sure what it was coated with (apricot?) but it was not helping much because it was barely there. The raisins were good but all lumped in the center. No balance at all. Sorry but this was very disappointing. I would have given 1 star but the service was good and I really did like the almond croissant.
