★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local butcher up on Covey Hill that is a good representation of Hemmingford! Always clean, very friendly people behind the counter and let us not forget why we came, the meat! They make what they call a "heavy smoke" bacon that is the best bacon I have ever had in my life. Plus they of course have every cut from the pig, cow, etc that you can come up with. Also they have a couple of freezers full of vacuum sealed items ready to go home with you. About a hour drive for my family but well worth the ride.

I have purchased for these 15 years 2-3 times per year a full pig and ¼ cow.They have always provided great service and quality products at a reasonable price when buying in bulk. Their level of service, cleanliness and knowledge of how to properly carve meat I have yet to find in the past 15 years since I have e moved away to Alberta. I highly recommend their services....Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I when to buy the meat worth almost $400, when back home check everything! I noticed the 10lbs ground pork and beef has 2 tag price which is porc & boeuf hache 36.92 and bacon fume noir 44.52, I checked my receipt, I paid both! How could you mistake ground meat, to smoke bacon? I'm so disappointed
