Boss Liquor started its business journey in 2010 from south side location at 1531 Lakewood Road West. 8 years later and Boss Liquor has grown to over 5 different locations in Edmonton, with 3 more on the way.
Our approach to the business is different than the big box retail. At Boss Liquor, we believe in a personal touch in every transaction with our customers. From carrying a large assortment of spirits, wine, and beer, to helping the customers finding the right product and making a sale, we take pride in providing great customer service at our businesses. We carry more than 3000 products in our stores to allow our customers the oppurtunity to have a variety of options to choose from.
Our main location, in Lakewood, is among the top ten stores in Edmonton, excluding the big box retailers, in terms of sale volume. Over the years, we have been able to build a significant customer base for each of our locations, thanks to our loyal customers.
Our goal is to slowly expand the business to the other parts of the city of Edmonton by adding new locations while staying true to the core philosophy of the company by providing great customer experience every time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not trust this liquor store, my bank called me regarding fraud alert, I went in and spent $16.99 and they double charged, I went in with proof showing them the duplicate charge and they lady didn’t care to even help, they will use your payment method and double charge you. I wish I could upload the picture to show you the double charge on the exact same purchase. What crooks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I already wrote a review for their Orchards location. Seems like this place is even more dead than the other one. No variety whatsoever, you can get the same exact stuff at the co-op liquor nearby for cheaper. I usually support local businesses but at least have some variety of products. There is literally no unique products at all in this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this store. The owner is really friendly and knowledgeable about spirits. He often offers discounts which I love. He also remembers his customers even if they are occasional buyers. I can buy my booze from any of the 3 stores by my house but I always go to Boss Liquor for the best deals and warm welcome. I would highly recommend Boss Liquor.

Its always open on special occasions when all the other ones are closed. Not to mention the great customer service ! Staff is always friendly and they even gave us complimentary shots for new years !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased $1000 worth of liquor for the wedding I was going to host until just recently, the restrictions were back in place due to Covid. I have tried to speak to the store manager and the owner about returning the unopened liquor, with a receipt. Unfortunately, the liquor has no use for us due to the wedding cancellation at this time. I have lost all my money to this place. Other venues including the hall have been more undestanding than this place. I will never buy from Boss Liquor again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone after having such a bad experience with them. Save your hard earned money and buy from a place that has a better return policy especially in a pandemic crisis we are having in Alberta at the moment. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a 6-pack and a couple single beers, when I got home and opened them up I realized everything was frozen. I took them back right away and they told me the walk-in cooler was malfunctioning and had froze everything inside. Wouldn’t give me a refund or let me exchange anything, not that I wanted to because everything was frozen. Absolutely brutal!
