I have hiked on many trails all the way up to lake Superior but this trail took my breath away. Spectacular lookouts, amazingly diverse flora and fauna and many wildlife such as dragonflies, birds, butterflies and moths. My kids were lucky to spot a mystical hummingbird moth. Difficulty level is high and dangerous drops. Muddy terrain due to a beaver building a dam and blocking the water flow. A great experience ❤️❤️❤️

Really good time spent doing this hike. The views are spectacular. Can't capture the true beauty in the pictures. Highly recommended if you are camping at Rock lake campground. 5/5

We did this hike October 06 and found it to be excellent. Many high beautiful vistas and great views along the lake on the return end of the hike. The small extra hike to the Judge’s cottage is an easy addition to the hike. Much easier hike than Tower and Track and with more vistas. Enjoy

Beautiful trail with an amazing rest stop and view in the middle. Rough trail so only recommended for active healthy people. Recommend doing the loop clockwise as there are a long set of stairs after the look off if you go clockwise. Best to go down the stairs versus up. My opinion. A must trail to visit.

Nice hike to overlook. Very muddy in the trails after the rain and when we got to the top there was fog over the trees so didn't get the full effect of the view! Stairs made it easier on the way down as well as walking along the old railway tracks Beautiful fall colours!

Amazing hike!!! Absolutely loved the challenge of the trail and the view. Recommend going clockwise as per previous reviews, starting at the entrance sign and follow the arrow direction on the map. Lots of uphill at the beginning which is a challenge but leads to an amazing lookout which is absolutely gorgeous! Final stretch is mainly even which is nice. Loved the views throughout! A bit muddy as it was a rainy day. Took us 2 hours with a couple breaks. Would skip the barclay estate as there’s not much to look at there.

We try to do this trail every year, a real gem of the park! We stick to the traditional route entering through the entrance, although we notice many people enter through the exit as it’s an easier climb to the peak with a wood staircase to aid the ascent. It took us 1h 35min to complete the trail this year walking quickly and stopping briefly at the top for photos. It’s a bit of a steep incline to the top but very doable. Once at the lookout above you can see the beauty of the park for miles! A great spot to stop, have a snack and enjoy the beautiful fall colours. Additionally, the exit of the trail is very easy to navigate as it’s relaxing walk along a beautiful beach shoreline. We will continue to do this trail every year as it gives us the best bang for our buck. Shorter and easier to navigate than Centennial Ridges with one of the best views in the park as your payoff.

Booth’s Rock Trail is an awesome hiking trail full of lovely sights and lots of history! It is a bit of a challenge given the distance and the elevation climb, but for those who try it, won’t be disappointed. The view you climb to alone is worth the exercise and sweat. There are beautiful trilliums along the way if you go at the right time of season and plenty of mushrooms to see. Definitely keep dogs and kids away from the cliff as it is dangerous. There is a clear warning at the beginning of this trail. On your way down, you’ll go by what used to be the Barclay Estate. The beautiful walk along the lake is on an old rail road path, followed by a small little beach & along side a gorgeous marshy area. I’m looking forward to coming back and revisiting this trail again and again.
