★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hike was gorgeous !! The path is large and easy to follow but can be wet and muddy in spots as small creeks flow through it. I would rate this hike on the easier end of moderate and recommend it to anyone of all ages. Short and sweet as it was only about 3h return for us and we weren't in any rush. Once at the Lake the views are amazing!!! Surrounded by mountains the Lake is a beautiful turquoise color in the light and is a must see for everyone !! Loved it !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hike 10.4 km
First part is a medium incline, to flat, to decline Trail. A little hard on the knees on the way out but if you are in shape (as I am not) you will be fine.
There are some mucky spots from melting snow.
The lake is Beautiful when you arrive and welcome if you want to cool off. Watch for trout , frogs, birds and bears. Not that I seen any bears. Beware those darn Horse Flys and some Mosquitoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, that's a nice hike with a stellar picnic spot. 10.5km and approx 200m elevation gain. Microspikes highly recommended currently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here just to see what was there. Lots of picnic tables, a warning to be bear aware, and what looked like an easy to follow trail up to Boom Lake. We didn’t attempt the trail as it was late in the day and we had neither a map nor proper equipment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and easy hike. Start morning and enjoy be in the forest. Be aware you are in bear country. Summer I put bear bell to my hiking bag, and bear spray. With friends it’s wonderful. With coffee it’s perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiked the main trail to Boom Lake on a snowy and cold day this February. The hike in was relatively easy for a pretty stellar views at the end. Would definitely do this again!
