★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you have a new vehicle I would recommend not to drive this road .washboarded badly and full of pot holes complained about 2weeks ago still nothing done .is a shame because it is a beautiful area.

Whether you are cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, boating, picnicking, stargazing, or just need to get away from it all for a bit, this is the place to do it. Miles and miles of pine needle trails lined with warm sandy beaches and flat rocks perfect for relaxing on a hot day, this place is like a spa for your soul. See unique and interesting animals and critters. Read up about the local history. Take a book and unwind. Whatever you end up doing you will surely leave this place feeling 10 pounds lighter in your soul.
Please remember this is a nature reserve. Respect the ecosystem so that it is there for many generations to come. Take nothing but pictures leave nothing but footprints!
