★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book City in Bloor West is accessible. They love dogs, and their human companions. Treats are only for the doggies, but you can find plenty of places in Bloor West Village for human edible treats. They are open for pick-ups at the door, order ahead, the friendly staff will order any book for their customers that isn't on their shelves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going here for decades and still love the place. Friendly and helpful staff and great place to browse. Ordered a book today by phone and it was quick and easy. I'll be picking it up curbside. Support of our local shops is essential these days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't been inside here for a while (pandemic, eh?) but ordered by phone for pickup. They had it ready for me first thing the next morning. Staff always friendly and helpful. Well stocked selection, good "local"stuff, and it seems that I always find some great deals on their discount tables. Hope to get in to browse again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought this was a used book store but it is not. It's a small independent bookstore. Had a solid collection of current books, a children's section and small magazine selection. Well suited for any avid reader that does not care for big-box book retailers.
