A nice course, some challenging holes that require you to hit your ball over water,; some fairways are narrow, surrounded by bush. Big club house, a pro shop, friendly staff.

Nice course that isn't extremely busy. One hole was a little low on the water table and it had some wet spots on the fairway but it has been about the wettest year in history here so I can't complain!

Great golf course, greens were fast and firm. Course was well maintained with some great layouts for the holes. Would definitely recommend playing this course if you are in the area.

Very disappointing. I heard great reviews about this course so I had high expectations. The only good thing I have to say about it is the driving range was conveniently a step away from the first hole. From the start, it was a terrible experience. Our tee off time was at 12:10, there was a group of 3 ahead of us (12:00) and a group of β€œ5” ahead of them (11:50). It took the group of 5 almost 30 minutes to finish the first hole. They eventually let us pass (7th hole) but by then we had already had to call the club house to ask that a Marshall be present to control the rate of play, which there was none present already on course. Secondly, the amount of maintenance going on over the whole course was ridiculous, so much to the point that the 10th hole was split up in two and the 17th hole was not in play at all. We received ZERO warning about this prior to playing and received no direction as to how to navigate our way around the holes being operated on, which made things very confusing. Unless you’ve been to the course before (which we hadn’t), trying to navigate the course in general was difficult as there wasn’t much indication as to which hole you are on. Which had us second guessing whether we were at the right hole or not. While the back 9 provided some beautiful views, the amount of maintenance taking place on the course was very distracting and a bit of an eye sore to be honest. I didn’t appreciate having to step over uncovered pipe lines to find my ball in the middle of the fairway. Apparently there was a beer cart out in the course, which we never saw until we finished the game and she was parked chatting up with one of the maintenance workers. All in all, between my husband and I, we paid to play 18, plus a cart which ended up costing us $150.00. I would NOT have even paid $75 to play this course. It was very disappointing, I would NOT recommend playing here, take your money elsewhere. I would suggest going to Cold Lake to play the base course over playing this one.

Had a great time at the BGCC Ladies Charity Scramble last Saturday. Course was in great shape. Bonnyville Oilmens Society were out in full force with a tent set up on hole 7. There food, drinks and games were awesome more than with enough for 105 participants. Cool and windy day turned out perfect with good company & support from our community.

This course is an absolute Gem! Any time im in the area, I try to make time for a round here. I've played many northern courses and this is probably the best kept course north of the Edmonton area.
