1er problème, ils ont mal calculé la quantité requise de bois franc. Donc, j'ai dû finir l'installation (environ 40 pi2) après avoir reçu de nouvelles boîtes.
2è problème, mon plancher est affreux, il a coffré et décollé de partout (et il craque comme ce n'est même pas imaginable).
Là, le grand génie de Arsenault (l'installateur atteint du syndrome de Napoléon) me dit que c'est de ma faute pcq le plancher à pris de l'humidité. Le boss, Jean-François (un autre empereur en devenir) est venu voir et m'a dit: "tu te plain pour de rien, moi mon plancher yé plus lette et magané que le tient (oui! oui! c'est vraiment son meilleur argument), si tu veux que je te l'arrange, poursuit moi"
Alors, j'ai fais des recherches et oui, l'érable à sucre est très sensible à l'humidité. Donc, si vous avez une maison où l'humidité descend à 40/45% l'hiver et monte à 70/80% l'été, et bien c'est un gap trop gros pour de l'érable à sucre. Donc, on m'a très mal conseillé (érable à sucre... c'est bon pour faire du sirop, pas des planchers, juste à regarder les photos).
En résumé, une belle gang d'entourloupeurs qui veut votre $$ et vous en donnant le moins possible.
Aujourd'hui, si je veux refaire le plancher, je dois démonter une cuisine, tout arracher et recommancer, Clé en main, il y en a pour près de 20 000$.
Alors, si vous voulez un beau plancher, n'allez pas là. Il y a en masse de joueur dans ce domaine et exigez des garanties! à ce moment, vous verrez si c'est une entreprise sérieuse ou juste une gang de Joe Jober qui veulent juste se graisser avec votre argent.

1st problem, they miscalculated the required amount of hardwood. So I had to finish the installation (about 40 sq. Ft.) After receiving new boxes.
2nd problem, my floor is awful, it chipped and peeled off everywhere (and it cracks like it is not even imaginable).
There, the great genius of Arsenault (the installer suffering from Napoleon syndrome) told me that it was my fault that the floor had taken in moisture. The boss, Jean-François (another emperor in the making) came to see and said to me: "you are complaining for nothing, me my floor is smoother and smarter than the hold (yes! Yes! It's really his best argument), if you want me to fix it for you, sue me "
So I did some research and yes, sugar maple is very sensitive to humidity. So if you have a house where the humidity goes down to 40/45% in the winter and goes up to 70/80% in the summer, well that's too big a gap for sugar maple. So, I was very badly advised (sugar maple ... it's good for making syrup, not for floors, just looking at the photos).
In short, a nice gang of tricksters who want your $$ and give you as little as possible.
Today, if I want to redo the floor, I have to dismantle a kitchen, tear everything out and start again. Turnkey, it costs nearly $ 20,000.
So if you want a nice floor, don't go there. There are a lot of players in this area and demand guarantees! at that point you'll see if it's a serious business or just a gang of Joe Jober who just want to grease themselves with your money.
