Body Fit is my regular gym, and I cannot recommend the establishment enough! The facilities are great, with both weight machines, and free weights. Lots of elliptical, cycling, and stair climbing machines, along with lockers and shower facilities. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great gym!

Compared to it’s competition, Bodyfit is easily the gym of choice as an Uxbridge resident looking to make the most of your fitness experience. However, that does not mean it does not have it’s flaws. The $100 month to month can seem a bit ludicrous at first, but with the context of what’s happened the past 2 years as a private business, I can sympathize from the owners POV. However, what I can not sympathize to is the hours. For weekdays, 7am opening is a solid time, however 6am would be perfect as it gives more leeway for customers to fit in morning shifts, school etc without being super pressed on time or have a shortened workout. Where i do have complaints is the 8pm closing. It can be a pit of a pain if you are pressed for time on day to day activities such as work/schoolwork, extracurriculars, etc. The 7am mostly accommodates for this, but a 6am opening and 10-12pm weekday closing would be ideal. The weekend hours are absolutely ridiculous!!! 8am-4pm is extremely frustrating and if you are someone who lifts with a decently balanced life you can understand why. The amount of times I have had a 9-5 shift on a weekend and not been able to go to the gym is more than i can count, as well as having to visit family/friends and not having time to lift due to the early closing and too late enough opening to go in the morning. Personally to resolve these timing issues, 6am-6pm or 8am-8pm would be both solid choices. If i had to decide i would go with 6am-6pm, as it allows the workers to enjoy the rest of their day whilst accomplishing a productive morning shift, as well as making the opportunity of customers to go in the morning in order pave way for the rest of their day priorities such as a job or life possible. I saw above that the hours are changing, so i have some specific time suggestions from a lifters perspective. The equipment is both very good and extremely mediocre, machines such as the linear and vertical hack squats are awesome, but the thick dull barbells kind of spoil it. There is 1 decent barbell, but if the owner can invest/swap the other barbells with more up to date ones it would be a wise decision with great feedback. Perhaps a deadlift platform and better barbells that don’t rattle to suppress the noise of deadlifting so it would be possible to do the movement correctly without promoting injury and being a disturbance would be a great move too. I’m aware that a 24/7 gym can be troublesome for the business and it’s workers, but before shaking your head, I want you to see me convey my point in the strongest way i can. With the key fob system that is already in place, workers already having 24/7 access, the small population of uxbridge, decreased constant people that would be in the gym if it was possible to go anytime in the day instead of having β€˜prime times’, and the great camera system, it would be a totally doable and wise business move. Snap fitness already went out of business, Anytime would no longer serve its purpose in Uxbridge and would join them in their extinction. Understand that lifters at anytime would come to bodyfit due to the better equipment with now matched hours, the business would rise exponentially with new customers hopping onboard. To support this claim, the amount of friends i have at anytime who have stated they would come to bodyfit if the hours were modified to be more accommodating or 24/7 is more than you would think. However, the increase in business would be minimal compared to the increase in positive feedback, as well as the more positive reputation the gym would hold. Instead of being recognized as the easy gym of choice in Uxbridge, Bodyfit would be recognized as an amazing gym overall.

The equipment was always extremely mediocre, after quarantine they raised the price to $100 per month and their hours are pretty short. Overall overpriced for the quality of service. Great gym compared to others in the area if money and or time isn’t a concern.
