It’s nice to take your vehicle to a shop these days and have no worries on how bad they’re going to diagnose AND charge you. Ive been to 3 now and by far the absolute best customer service. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant, polite and prompt front end staff. Got me in for a battery replacement faster than I expected. That is where the good times ended. Only replacement battery option was $200 more than I could find myself from major retailers. Why not just buy from them and offer to their customers? All these batteries come with a 5 year warranty. Anyway, Installation costed more than major retailer but not by much $20. They then charged an extra $40 just to determine that it was a battery issue even though they got the install job. In the end I feel chiseled and will not return.

I brought my vehicle in and pretty much gave an opportunity for business. The person who helped me, Ryan, did not abuse that. He made sure to give me my best options that were the most cost-efficient for me. I know this because I compared it with other places, along with a friend who was just a little unsure of the diagnosis until Bob's transmission confirmed it. If I ever have any new problems moving forward, this place will be on the top of my list for diagnosis and repair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live 750Kms north of Bob's Transmissions, the Mechanic working on my truck and I both agreed that this would be the best place to send my failed transmission too. It has been a few months or so since this work was completed and I wanted to use my truck for the things it does before writing a review. Bob's Transmission, my mechanic and I discussed what the trucks needs are and the unit was rebuilt to meet the needs. I can honestly say that the transmission has done just that and then some. The truck's fuel mileage has been better in town, out in the bush off-road and towing but there is no difference in mileage cruising the highway empty. I will recommend Bob's Transmissions to anyone that needs work done to there vehicles.
