The office is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are so kind and friendly. The doctor really makes an effort to connect with their patients and I really value that. There's no doubt that I will continue coming back to boardwalk. I highly recommend this place!

I haven't had an eye exam in about 5 years and he took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions without rushing me. His level of service and professionalism is superb and I will be recommending Dr Zachary Kamachi and this clinic to my family and friends. The staff here are also very friendly and welcoming!

My son has been seeing Debbie (no pun intended) and she is also exceptional. Because of Debbie's high level of service and professionalism my son refuses to go to another optometry practice so we make a very far drive there even though there are so many options closer to home.

Prior to that, I was waiting quite a some time for a call back. I showed few areas where they can improve their customer service and over last 3 weeks I am seeing an improvements in my case. So, I will delete my original review now and leave this at a neutral state, so I can continue to see their ongoing commitment to their patients.

She was extremely informative and thorough and took her time to explain things to me to make sure I understood what was going on. On top of that, their staff at the front desk was lovely to deal with and their optometric technician was so patient with me, even after I kept messing up the tests and had to start one over.

My near sighted vision is so much better now after being prescribed glasses and contacts. All the optometrists and reception at Boardwalk are extremely friendly and always welcoming. I trust anyone to take good care of my eyes here and I always look forward to my visits. They are all very knowledgeable, professional and kind. My last few appointments have been with Lauren Kamachi and I recently got new new pair of glasses with her that I absolutely love!! The space itself is beautiful and always very clean. It is quite an impressive space. I happily drive from Kitsilano to their location! My next treatment with Boardwalk will be a dry eye treatment with Forma that I am really looking forward to and have seen amazing results for those with dry eyes. They are very forward with technology and the treatments they offer. Thank you to all the Optometrists at Boardwalk for taking great care of my eyes over the years. I’m thankful for the knowledge they have given and I understand how important it is to take care of my eyes and go for regular check ups. You are in very good hands at Boardwalk Optometry!

The whole team is friendly and helpful, and definitely knows what they’re doing! I recently had a checkup with Dr. Kyle Kamachi as well and he shared some knowledge on why COVID has affected my eyes lately, totally recommend!
