By the end of my first year as a member, our company was grateful enough to thank BNI members and their referrals for $142,000 in business
Realising the true potential of how building my business through the power of referrals in BNI could be, we continued to work towards a goal of $1 Million in referral business with BNI Southern Alberta. Our company achieved this milestone within the first 5 years in the BNI organisation.
Fast forward to October 2021, our company Insight Management Consultants Ltd. can officially celebrate another milestone, $2 Million in closed business because of the BNI Alberta South & it's member referrals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have received more business through BNI and BNI-related contacts than anywhere else since starting my consulting business in 2014. But my experience with BNI goes beyond that. It has made me a better public speaker, better business owner and and a better person. It has enabled me build relationships with quality business owners who I can trust with business and other important life matters. Yes, there are many other ways to do and grow business but, in my opinion, none comes close to the structured referral marketing platform that BNI provides.

My business has grown from a solopreneur to managing a team of 5 great people largely due to my membership and success with BNI Alberta South.
BNI has more then provided us a steady stream of quality referrals, though they have done that too. In recent years BNI Alberta South has put their heart and soul into building a fantastic learning platform to help business owners not only run effective chapters but run more effective businesses.
When I found BNI I had just come out of a fly-by-night referral marketing group that split its focus between business development and political lobbying. BNI focused on tangible results, and not only sustaining my business but encouraging its growth. This is what set BNI Alberta South apart from any other group I have had membership.
Through my history with BNI I have had many interactions with the Regional Executive Director Moji Ajele. She has been a shining example of the entrepreneurial spirt that she promotes. I have seen exceptional integrity from Moji, as she has shown personal interest and support to me and my business on several occasions. I am truly grateful to have met her in my travels.
I am thankful to have found and become a member of this great organization.

But I’ve gotten so much advice and mentoring from other business owners that have helped me grow and improve my overall business, and I can’t put an exact price on the value of that. Then to top it all off, growing friendships with exceptional people is the icing on the cake!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined BNI after making a transition in career and starting a business as a self employed Financial Advisor. BNI has helped me grow my network, practice my "pitch" and hone my message. I have made tremendous professional connections that have been instrumental in helping me reach my target clientele.
What I wasn't expecting when I joined was to find such a wonderfully supportive community of business owners who have become personal friends. Positivity is infectious and meeting with this group of friends every week helps you keep your eye on the ball. I have personally benefitted from the services of my fellow members as I no longer need to ask around when I need my windows replaced, or have a plumbing problem or even need professional services like lawyers.
The experience has been invaluable. The cost commitment is negligible (since it generates new business) but there is a time commitment. If you can trade some time each week for qualified referrals, this is the cheapest sales force you will ever hire.
Highly recommend.

A year later we have rejoined and within 2 weeks, we are experiencing significant growth. BNI is a welcoming organization with a family feel to it with people that care about your success.
