Blue Quill Montessori Daycare - Edmonton

After pulling our “problem child” from this daycare since every second day she was deemed disruptive I have seen nothing but improvement. Doing play dates with other children we learn that the kids like to set up our child to look bad and is not the bully but being bullied. Our child stopped talking for a year about her feelings because she thought she was bad and we let her down because we believed a daycare over her. We did take her to a doctor and psychologist and they said she had trust issues but nothing out of the norm. I’m sorry but we feel let down since we only had problems at this place no issues at school, lessons or other care providers by removing her from this place all our lives have drastically improved. Regaining her trust is what pains me as a parent. I know they will provide other people different care but for us it was a huge disappointment.

My younger daughter had a great opportunity to be with this day care. As a parent, your only request is to have a stress free mind when your kids are in a safe day care. I want to mention the Owner Mrs Kim Turna and her Director Violet Merma who plays a very key role in running this establishment. They are very warm, welcoming and sincere. They act very professional at all times. Their staffs are always friendly. The activities, play area, dining room, their cook staff are clean and very well maintained. The day care itself is bright and clean and it feels welcoming when you enter the building. The staffs welcome your kids when they see them with a great smile. I feel when i drop my daughter that she is with her extended family and in great hands. Their staffs always take great care of them and also ensures that the medicines are given correctly in a timely way. Their staff are very professional are are all educated to the level for your kids to grow and play. I have personally traveled several counties but I am very happy to recommend this day care to anyone. One big thing which stands out is their lunch and snack programme. It is well balanced and safe and follow all the healthy regulations. I have heard several of their staffs praise the way their bosses treat them at work. so these two lovely ladies do not only take great care of the kids but they treat their employees well. Their summer field trips are always fun and it is very hard to pick up my daughter in the evening as she always wants to stay there for long time. I wish you very well in the establishment and looking for them to grow their business and open more day cares and after school programme. This child care facility is great. My kids have been going to this daycare for the last 3 year and love it. Staff here are great, and keep the parents well informed. They provide a wonderful and creative space for the kids to have fun and learn. They also provide a number of activities and field trip during the summer break, which is great for the kids. I recommend this daycare for anyone seeking child care.

Due to personal reasons we had our son here only for a short time. He always had a smile when we dropped him off and was happy to see the staff. I liked receiving daily pictures and messages about his well being and I loved the natural light they got while inside from the large windows. The staff was always kind and respectful to our family.

Our children attended Blue Quill Montessori Daycare from when they were babies all the way until before/after school care. We loved the quality of care, staff members, education, and clean facility. We would highly recommend this daycare and only left because we moved from the area. Our kids miss the staff so much they often express wanting to go back to visit. Thank you for 7+ years of excellent service!

This daycare is wonderful. They supply nutritious foods, keep the kids clean, change them regularly, document anything that goes wrong, play with the kids, teach the kids about so many things, they take care of everything so drop off and pick up are a quick simple process, they send daily photos, communicate well, and they form bonds with the kids and the parents. I didn't realize how truly amazing Suni and the staff are until we moved and had to switch daycare. I totally recommend this daycare.

A very welcoming environment for kids. Our child loves attending the daycare and adjusted quickly. I like how bright the rooms are with floor to ceiling windows and the caregivers are very consistent (low turnaround with staff.) Our child’s speech is coming along well since being here and they enjoy the crafts and socialization opportunities.
