Blatz B-Stro? More like Blah-tz BS-tro! Ate here for the first time today and we definitely won't be going back. How they have a 4.1 star rating is honestly mind blowing. We saw lots of elderly folk eating there so maybe their taste buds are fried and they need to get their eyes checked? My wife had chicken fingers with regular fries and I had a mozza burger with their home fries and gravy. Mozza burger meal- Burger tasted like every other gross burger I've had in the area, akin to Vicky's Drive Inn in Ste Anne, Sandy's Snack Shack at the mini putt just outside of Richer, and the Marchand Inn in Marchand, etc... (yes I'm dragging you all through the mud). I don't understand why it's so difficult to make a good burger... make a patty out of ground beef and salt both sides and cook it on the grill! I don't know if it's because these places put a filler in their burgers or what but it's absolutely disgusting both in flavor and texture. My home fries were a fry/grease hybrid monster. They were soggy and there was a pool of grease under them. The oil was obviously not hot enough nor were the fries golden brown. It's pretty pathetic when the gravy is the star of the show. Onto the chicken fingers... They were grey in color and greasy. (Grease will be the common factor throughout this review). Once again... the grease wasn't hot enough so it soaked into the coating. Once again... not golden brown... grey in color as previously stated. Gross for the eyes and to eat! My wife had their regular fries which looked like crispy McCain fries ... which is fine if they were cooked correctly but unfortunately they weren't crispy... they were also... you guessed it! Greasy AF... and undercooked. Another issue we had was when we went to grab spoons to stir our coffees, they were all dirty. We used our water straws to stir our coffee ... which was piping hot I should add. After like 5 minutes we could finally start to drink them. Good strategy to save money on refills I must say! The only reason I'm not giving this place 1 star is because the server was great and the place is nice on the inside. I'm fed up of these restaurants putting out subpar food. Cooking good food isn't rocket science. You're way better off going to McDonald's. They know how to cook fries and you'll save yourself some money and not have to leave a tip.

I have updated this review this restaurant has come a long way in its quality of food and even its atmosphere. I truly have to say I love the ambiance there wether it be having breakfast by the bright windows or a soft dinner by the fireplace its really nice.

Excellent breakfast. Excellent service. Excellent owner and staff. All with a great attitude and friendliness.

Best place, best food, best people

Food was excellent, (phenomenal mac&cheese) and the pickle gave a nice crunch to the pulled pork sandwich, I loved it! service was fast, and there was a nice place to sit outside!
