Blairton Trailer Park

The Park is in a great location, and there are very friendly people there. However there are always a select few that can ruin your entire trip. We were booked for 5 nights but ended up leaving after 4. First off we stayed in site 91, and the neighbouring seasonal site has their shed on site 91, and I’m not kidding when I say that gentlemen walked across our site ALL DAY, he would walk right through our chairs and fire pit to get to his shed constantly! This was extremely frustrating, we couldn’t really enjoy ourselves with a stranger constantly on our site. What really put us over the edge though was we had to park our car in visitor parking because you aren’t aloud two vehicles on site, which that is fine. HOWEVER, apparently our car alarm was going off for two nights in a row...which this has never occurred before, and hasn’t occurred since we returned home. So extremely odd that the two nights it was parked there the car alarm went off, usually that indicates someone is trying to brake into the car. When the owner told us about this, he accused us of purposely getting up in the middle of the night to set the alarm off. I have never felt so disrespected in my entire life. We were trying to enjoy a family vacation with our baby. Anybody with a baby knows sleep is precious, I assure you we would not get up in the middle of the night to set an alarm off for fun. Not to mention our site was too far away from the parking, that even if you pressed the car alarm button it wouldn’t reach the car. When I told him I gave them my car and license plate number, and asked why you wouldn’t just come get us to shut the alarm off, he said ‘well it was the middle of the night I wasn’t going to wake you’. It seems his story wasn’t straight, because if it happened two nights then why wouldn’t you tell us after the first night? In conclusion I feel we were disrespected, and discriminated against because we were not seasonal tenants. I was really hoping for a nice holiday away for my husbands birthday, but that was not the case. Just extremely disappointed.

We've spent the last week here and are sad to be leaving in the morning. The kids have had a blast all week- between the pool, playground and lake with water playground there's enough that if they're bored of one thing, you move on to the next and there's no nagging about no wifi. The campground is well looked after, bathrooms are clean, the entire park is well maintained. Nights have been quiet once bedtime rolls around and it overall has been a wonderful family campground to attend. We 100% would visit again. We'd been hoping to find a seasonal site and while none have been available, I'm glad we were still able to enjoy the transient sites in the park. Mike and Amy are doing an amazing job. Mike was very helpful in getting us parked exactly where he wanted us on our site, which trying to direct me after I've been driving with kids and a trailer all day is no easy feat, because my brain was done- but he was patient and made getting set up so much easier. Would absolutely recommend for a family getaway. We can't wait to return.

Beautiful park. Very clean & well kept. Owners Mike & Amy & kids go above & beyond to make your stay relaxing & less stressful!!! Mike went above & beyond to help us park & set up our trailer. Can't thank him enough.

We have been to Blairton trailer park several times and I must say we always go as a group in sites 90 and 91. We always have had nothing but accommodating owners. Amy, Mike, Lexi and Ethan operate the park in a family oriented atmosphere that works well for everyone in the park. We have been here prior to COVID and the park had always had something for every. A really fun place to be for any age! This is the very best park we have been to by far and intend to keep come back for years to come. Mike and Amy are not only the greatest park owners but they have the most polite and friendly children in Lexi and Ethan I have seen in any family business anywhere. Always a wave a smile and always willing to help out with any needs of campers wether seasonal or just weekend warriors. 6 out of 5 stars for Blairton Tent and Trailer Park! Great park. Everyone friendly and helpful. Playground across camp. Large area to watch kids. Pool closed due to covid so tried lake. Water was nice but beach had looked like been attended to beginning season then not touched. A lot of pine needles. Had a fun time, second year coming here. Great for week away. ?

this was advertised on the radio before/during/after that the pool was open but it wasn't; the beach is advertised as clean and Sandy but the water is awful. so mucky. I grew up swimming in creeks but this was awful. you couldn't even walk in it without getting stuck in it. At least there were blow up structures to swim to and stay on while you were out at the water... there was no garbage disposal either, which made for lots of flies until you're leaving the campsite to take your garbage with you. Hopefully you have a truck, or in the very least, not a hatchback...

Great family park, extremely clean and tidy. All the grounds are maintained amazing. I would recommend this park if privacy and larger sites are not top of the list. People are very friendly and respectful.

Great place. As a tent camper, the tent sites are small. But! They are directly across from the playground, have water tap and electrical on site, and are very clean and well kept. Amazing for camping with young children. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. Firewood was actually a mix of mostly hard wood with some soft to ease starting the fire, so longer lasting fires. And we didn't care at all about the size of the site as we were rarely there. There is so much to do! The water park is epic (I the adult had so much fun, my youngest stayed to the beach which has some stuff for smaller ones.)we all still had fun swimming out to the big stuff - and watching me go down the massive slide or swing. The playground is epic as well. Some pretty awesome stuff, that I the adult had a blast playing with my kids all day between beach trips for multiple days.
