Beautiful trails relatively close to Saskatoon with more varied terrain than other options. I will make the disclaimer that this review is based on just 1 Nordic ski trip, where I did 1 lap of 1 path without using the warming hut or any of the facilities. It was also a beautiful day, and I happened to be the first one to ski the trail after it was groomed. One thing I will say is that it wasn't at all crowded despite how nice the day was, which was nice. There was more than enough parking, and there's a second north parking lot if you get tired of the trails on the south end.

Great trails and a great set-up all around. We will be back. Hopefully many, many times.?

Honestly some of the best hiking near Saskatoon. This place is great when you want to escape the city and get in touch with nature. The easy trails are moderately difficult but reward you with some great views. If you decide to venture on one of the longer trails you can stop at one of the warm up shacks located at either parking lot, which would be great for skiing in the winter. If you are looking for a way to kill a day make the trip up to duck lake and enjoy this gem anytime of the year.

Trails were very well marked and it was a great hike. We did have a run in with a fairly large bear so be cautious as they are in the area.

Such lovely trails to ski on. They are maintained well by the nordic ski club (thanks volunteers!) A good variety of length and skills level. There is a warm up hut near both parking lots with little outhouses. I recommend going for a ski here.

We did the Eb's Trail as a summer hike. Beautiful, quiet & probably moderate difficulty. About 5 km long. Loved it. Looking forward to coming back & doing some of the more challenging &/or longer trails.

Wonderful place all year round for Nordic Ski, day hikes, mountain bike rides, and even horseback rides. 2 picnic areas and several benches along the trails

We were kind of nervous about skiing here as we're beginners and have only skied around our neighborhood park and Wildwood Golf Course in Saskatoon. There are hills. They are probably steeper than the ones in your local park. But they are not insurmountable. Even for us beginners! We were scared of the steep downhill portions at first, but after only an hour of skiing, we were getting pretty good at balancing and using one foot to snowplow. Uphill portions can be conquered by V- stepping or side stepping. So yes, these trails are more difficult that your local park. However they are very doable if you have some skiing experience (we have about 10 hours practice). The trails were groomed nicely and the facilities were good! Outhouses are the bathroom facilities, and the warm-up shelters are dry and cozy, with kindling set up in the wood stove, ready to turn into a warm fire to thaw frozen toes.
