★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful location! We would love to see it in the summer as well. For me, I would like to see a few improvements to the bedroom decor, and a bit more of the basic stuff - like food wrap, tinfoil, garbage bags, etc.
It was a great stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So... the Hwy closed at Golden, headed east into the Rockies and we were stuck for hours... we must have called a hundred hotels, with not vacancies. We even had places tell us they couldn’t accommodate us because we were travelling with our children. On a whim, we decided to try and drive around the accident through the mountain roads that parallel the hwy. We saw and sign “Blaeberry Mountain Inn” and decided to try them. We came up aces and were informed that they’d had a cancellation.
We rolled up to the Lodge office and Were met by Renate with a smile (even though she was in the middle of dinner). She directed us to our cabin so we could check it out. We drove a little further up the hill and saw Rainer shoveling out the drive and porch of the cabin (after having started the fire, even though he was in the middle of dinner). We could smell the wood-burning stove and were immediately welcomed by a warm and cosy accommodation.
Having had no food, being stuck on the hwy and worried that we’d be sleeping in our cars, we felt so welcomed by Renate and Rainer. Knowing that we had interrupted their dinner with our complaints and very grumpy attitudes, we have to thank them for making us feel at home. They even gave us a box of pasta and a jar of sauce so that we could make some supper!
Oh yeah, their cabins are pretty sweet too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place a perfect place for a getaway from the busy city. Took my dog here for Easter weekend and he absolutely loved it! We stayed at a small cozy cabin and we hiked up in the mountains. Usually when my dog visits a new place, he's a little unsure at first but when we got here, it seems like he enjoyed it the moment we got there & he didn't even want to leave! This place is really peaceful if you enjoy the country lifestyle. The only thing that stops me from giving this a 5-star review is the incomplete kitchen materials for cooking. Other than that, this is a sweet getaway.
