★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best skate sharpening in Calgary. If you want to be an elite skater you need to pay attention to your skates, profile, and hollow. No one does this better. Blades has looked after my three boys from Timbits now into the AJHL and hopefully beyond. I have a goalie and two forwards. All different players however all have experienced the same positive results. We won't let any one else touch their skates!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For our Goalie skates, We’ve tried several places over the years, and even had blades ruined by supposed “Pros”, Calgary Blades have far superior and accurate profiles and sharpening than anywhere else. They are in a class of their own. No one else touches our blades.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After years of taking my skates to Sport Chek for mediocre sharpening's, I was referred to Blades. I got a standard 5/8 cut and was blown away by the quality of sharpen. Tons of bite in the turns yet could still do sliding stops with no skate chatter. Smooth glide on straights and outstanding grip when needed. I have no doubt that I will continuing to return to Blades for all of my sharpening needs. Top quality staff as well!
