★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this camp in 1987. 4th grade. Going through a difficult time @ home, father alcoholic, had difficulty making new friends, shy, wanted to go home badly. The camp counsellors really helped me out of it, one spoke to me at length about whatever I was going through, and though I can't prove it, I know now they set me up (no clue at that time) with a cute girl for the last night dance. It was such a confidence booster and I ended up having a good time, solely because the counsellors went out of there way to help me. I look back at that experience and think what good people they were and positive impact they had.
