Very delicious pastries and nice hot beverages. Staff are super friendly and nice. I tried pastries and smell pizzas. Their pizza looks and smells awesome and I'll try it for sure next time. If you are around you should try this place.

Came here for brunch and also brought home a bunch of their pastries and cake. For brunch, we ordered the prosciutto eggs benedict and chorizo hash. Both were tasty. The chorizo hash is more on a savoury side and the sauce could make really good pasta.

I'm not sure how this place receives anything less than 5 stars to be honest. Perhaps the only downfall I've found is that they do not have wifi available to their customers making it a less desirable location to study. Customer service: incredible. The staff are lovely, kind, and accommodating even during busier times. Latte: this is a proper latte. None of that weak starbucks business. You'll feel and taste the espresso immediately which is a welcomed component as an avid latte drinker. You really do not need any sugar or sweetener to enjoy it, and in fact I'd recommend against it so you can properly appreciate the taste of the espresso. Breakfast sandwich: really tasty, great portion, and they even supported me getting half salad half potatoes as a side because I was too keen to try both! The salad was light and a refreshing palate cleaner. The potatoes were well seasoned and not greasy which was appreciated. The sandwich itself had great flavors, it was decadent and did not feel weighed down or greasy which was impressive considering it has aoili, cheese, and sausage. Very well done!! The aroma of fresh croissant well grip you like a loving hug if you come here first thing in the morning, and with that said, their ham and cheese croissants are likely the best I've ever had. The ambiance is wonderful. A lovely place to come for brunch with a friend, read a late night book and enjoy a fresh pastry (they're open until 9p!) or to simply sip espresso and escape the rain. Highly recommend!

Consistently astounding pastries and specialties available. Enjoyed the Fort Trail Bar made in house. Full of oats, nuts, peanut butter and cranberries. Ordered an oat milk dirty chai and it was delicious! The cafe is always clean and has a good energy.

Hello dear blacksmith coffee shop, As a loyal customer of this business, unfortunate I have to report this incidence. If blacksmith care about any customer whose first language is not English, there is an issue to address in customer service. As someone who have been living in Canada for seven years I assume I speak clearly and loudly. I assume the plastic screen and mask did make communication harder. But today when I repeated my order loudly after being asked, one of the younger server seem to resort into passive-aggressive behaviour and still said β€œ I can’t hear you” even when the second time I said it was definitely loud enough that the customer lining three spots behind me can hear it. As someone who studied a little in business, for customer service, it’s your job to lean in to the customer. However, as I observed, my voice level was the same as the server. And most customer when talking to her had to lean on she’s her body language and facial expression did not seem to be interested. I did not attempt to provide the name as it is not a personal offence but it is an attitude to be pointed out. In fact, although my first language is not English, I likely had more proficiency in world language than her including Spanish, French and Japanese. When I travel to Latin America, most people lean in to attempt to understand my Spanish. Perhaps unless you have that experience of going to a non- English speaking country you will never understand that. Sincerely

Impressive croissants, they're flaky and crisp like a good croissant should be with a luscious buttery flavour. The butter croissant rivals top patisserie in Vancouver. Add in decent coffee and breakfast, as well as friendly and helpful staff; Blacksmith Bakery is a real gem. Can't wait to go back!

Just tried their hot chocolate which was really good, the barista took her time to ensure it was done right and did not rush it. I will return to try out the food. It’s a bit small with just a few tables but was quite busy. They also have tables outdoors with heat lamps. Every time we walk by this place there is always a line up.

Very cozy bakery with nice atmosphere. Ordered blacksmith benedict and avocado egg toast for brunch, and also ordered some scones to go. They were all delicious. Great coffee too!?
