I found Black and Smith Ironworks and I was very pleased with their original designs that are both simple and elegant. I purchased 4 hairpin legs that I requested to be at a custom height and I expected to have my order ship in a month. Much to my surprise the hairpin legs arrived on my doorstep less than two weeks after placing the order and they were a perfect fit to my coffee table. The price of the 4 hairpin legs was also less than I expected even with shipping charges. Good work Black and Smith Ironworks!

I feel fortunate to have discovered Black and Smith Ironworks, who offer a variety of options for this. My selection was the X-Squared design. Michaela communicated promptly and was very helpful to determine the appropriate size and cross support needed. The finished product arrived at my home in Colorado, and is just what I want! It is sturdily constructed, the welds are smooth and of high quality: evenly distributed and free of slag and porosity. The entire piece is expertly painted and the cross support fits perfectly. It has been a pleasure to deal with Michaela and Barry and I highly recommend Black and Smith Ironworks!
