Bitbuy is compliant with Canadian rules and they keep looking for feedback in order to continuously improve. Their support staff is patient and knowledgeable of their platform.. So far, this is a very good experience.

When I try to get help from other crypto exchanges all I get is crickets ... but the Bitbuy team always get back to me right away and provide amazing service and suggestions for any issues I'm having. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: simple to use. fast transactions when you are transferring money between your chequing/savings and crypto account at this platform.
Cons: They dont have control over their own processes. Can't fix a simple problem of report generation at their end in over a week. Even if you notify them well in advance and several times. Please ensure you withdraw funds from their platform MONTHS before you want to invest them elsewhere.
Customer Service can't really help you and they further irk you asking if they can do anything for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best customer service experiences I've had. I sent an email regarding a delayed transaction at 8pm PST. And within minutes had a response and a team member looking into the issue. Within half an hour it was resolved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do yourself a favour and don’t sign up with this company. There is something not right with the way they operate. I uploaded all the documents they required and the account verification process was pending for at least a week. I have been reaching out many times trying get an update. They finally responded days after, saying I needed to set up a call meeting so they could further verify me. We set up a date and time, no one called me. Then they wrote back, included a random number in their email, asking me if this was my contact number. I responded that I have NEVER had that number in my life. And the final email I got from them was they decided to close my account, and refused to provide a valid reason.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They must be paying people or bots to give them good reviews because out of 5 different discussions I had with them, only one went well. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, and honestly I was too lazy to switch wallets/companies until now. Unfortunately they are too quick to fold under outside pressures, and after doing research it’s better to go with a stronger company. One that won’t fold first to the regulators and who put their customers first!

They were very prompt in dealing with my issue and it took approximately 20-30 min for my issue to be resolved.
