R	Richard Oxlade on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cute little restaurant in the heart of old Quebec with lots of character. To be honest, I’d say this place was kind of overrated. The food was good, but lacked the overall quality of being top notch. We started with the Aranchini ball (just one ball) for $14 which was very underwhelming, barely worth half the amount we paid in my opinion. And for the mains, I went casual with the Elk and Brie burger and my girlfriend got the Mushroom Ravioli. Both were good dishes but were still underwhelming given the expectations ahead of time. Sadly, I can’t give this place more than a 3 star for the sole reason being, it’s fine dining prices, for somewhat casual food quality.

I was so amazed by the service and food! The French onion soup was good and the mushroom ravioli was life changing! My partner got the elk burger with the poutine upgrade (I was too hungry to take a pic) and that was delicious as well!

My daughter had the warmed chicken salad and loved it - said the chicken was so tender it just broke off with her fork. My other daughter really enjoyed her elk burger and my wife loved the quiche. All that was topped off with a melt in your mouth chocolate cake dessert. We're planning to go again!

The service was perfect and the ambience is so lovely ... it's a very old building with a nice modern twist for decor. We were lucky enough to get a window seat when there was light snow falling over old quebec which gave us a hallmark movie feeling. 5 stars all the way and I will be coming back the next time I visit Quebec City.

Their chef prepares your food to perfection. We had the French onion soup, red deer burger and tasty sangrias at one meal and we loved the deer medallion in blueberry sauce and duck confit with elk sausage at another. You want to save room for their maple cake! Unreal! Merci!

The place is nice and cute with great food. I enjoyed what I had, which was the snail stew for an appetizer and the duck for my main. I washed it down with the sangria. All were good. I would recommend this restaurant if you're ever in Old Quebec City.
