★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Montreal from Toronto during the Thanksgiving weekend and found this place. We were overly surprised with the taste of the food. We ordered a chicken with rice, banana chips and onion gravy. I did not feel heavy after eating this for dinner. The lady at the front desk is very lovely to talk to.
We went there again the day we were coming back to Toronto as we didn’t want to miss eating the food again. I recommend everyone to go try the food and leave their review about this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People, please don't hesitate to go to this place, it is wonderful! This food felt so much like home that I cannot wait to go again and have something else. We had the griots and the chicken small size and it was enough! Very economic and outrageously delicious. I believe its the only créole resto in this area. Go try it!

I recommend 100% I took a plate of fritay ( it came with banane, marinade, akra, macaroni or salad, sauce & pikliz) with griot and my friend with chicken it was so delicious. I will go back for sure !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! Lovely woman behind the counter who patiently explained each dish. Bit of a language barrier as we only spoke English but we loved the griot, dinde, and Tasso boeuf that we ordered. 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a locally/family owned business that serves delicious creole food at a very affordable price. The griot and the sauce it comes with is fantastic. Each order comes with fried plantains, rice, a bit of pickled spicy cabbage, macaroni salad and the protein of your choosing.
Like others have mentioned, the service can be a little slow, but be patient! It's worth the wait! You can also call ahead of time to order for pick up, which will save you time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the first time I ate Creole food. I thought it was like Costa Rican food, but it’s different. Taste great anyway. Meat is tasty and flavor is good. Rice is nice too. The only thing is it is an oily meal, but once a while it doesn’t matter. Chicken is recommended, lamb is not as good as chicken.
