To start, the restaurant is nicely decorated. I love the trees, the front view and the ambiance (music) inside the restaurant. The server was nice. The menu wasn't big but that's not at all a problem with me and I spotted a few dishes that seemed intriguing. Despite being excited to try it and wanting to love it, sadly, the food was underwhelming for me. We ordered phở bò and bò lúc lắc. The noodles didn't seem fresh but more like they had been cooked, then refrigerated and heated up by pouring the hot soup over just before serving. Because of that, the noodles were not chewy but brittle and they broke into short pieces. The broth was meh, but the meat in the phở was great (perfect rare and had thin marbles of fat and tendon). The bò lúc lắc was a disappointment. It was underseasoned so not much flavour (especially when paired with white rice) and a bit overcooked that the beef became chewy. I love that they served it on a sizzling plate like some places in Vietnam. Given that the foods were more expensive than an average Vietnamese restaurant, I should expect more but I got less than the average. I hope that this was an one time off and since the restaurant could be new, they will figure out their best practices for their business ? I always want to support my fellow Vietnamese and look forward to trying really good Vietnamese food in Canada.

The place is very cute, the service is good, and the presentation is very nice, but I was not super impressed with the food :/ given the reviews and price I was really expecting something amazing! I got the Tom Yum, and there was very little vegetables in this soup and it was mostly noodles. Also no lemongrass in the Tom Yum :( I have come across that a lot here in Canada, I miss the real Tom Yum... By the end of my soup I was left with too many noodles in my plate and not very satisfied. I might go again and try a different dish however.

Seems like Really authentic Vietnamese food but I’ve never been to Vietnam so I’m not really sure what to expect they also had a few thai items on the menu. The food was really good very fresh I would definitely go back

I am a vegetarian so I was happy to find a vegetarian pad thai on the menu, as I love this dish. I was quite less happy to receive a chicken pad thai instead. I thought a piece of chicken accidentally fell in my bowl for a second, but no, after looking closer, there was a lot of them. This is unacceptable, I will not order again.

The imperial rolls in this Vietnamese restaurant were soooo good !! They also put a lot of effort into decorating every dish creatively. The mussels here were big and tasty. The fried onion on the top went well with fish sauce and was just AMAZING ! I’ve never tasted this kind of combination before. My friend from Vietnam said they actually used this kind of sauce a lot. It’s not sweet and sour sauce if you are wondering now. However, pho is just on average. It’s so unfortunate that I didn’t try your speciality at that day since kitchen didn’t provide at that time. I’ll give four stars for this experience, leaving one star for next time when I try their special pho. It’s nice to discover this restaurant in le pleteau neighborhood

What a WONDERFUL place, people and food! It was a rainy day and we wanted soup for the soul. We got the PHO options with chicken. Their menu is nice and not complicated. Price is acceptable and environment 5/5. We wanted to get out of the usual chaos that is Chinatown or other pho places. This one is actually a good discovery and the food was delicious! Totally we will repeat. Recommendation cal in advance just to check that they have spots available cause on their website you have to reserve! Lovely we will come back

The best Vietnamese food we’ve ever had. Period! We are from NYC. We thought we had the best there but we were wrong lol. Glad that we chose this place to dine on our last night of visit. The pho, the rice with duck, the springs are just amazing! Service is great! Nice environment! Recommend ?!!

Best Vietnamese food (outside of Vietnam) that I have ever had. Vietnamese is my favorite and since we are visiting from NYC we decided to give the top rated Vietnamese spot in Montréal a try and it was worth it!!! Top spot for a reason. I thought NYC had the best Vietnamese but hands down Bistro CÔ ÚT is the best Vietnamese restaurant I have eaten at. We are blown away from the Spring and Imperial rolls to the classic Pho & Duck Curry. All so yummy and delicious! I would definitely come back for more and recommend to all to try!!
