I think those who know me would probably describe me as fun and outgoing. I like to get out into nature and enjoy what life has to offer. Some of those things include camping, boating, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and the list goes on.
My life experiences (like probably many of yours) have been colorful, painful, and joyful. There is a time in life to experience hardships, a time to heal, a time to rest. It’s true that I have a busy family life with my wife and 3 young kids. I understand that life can be challenging! I've worked in farming, construction, transportation, and many other jobs. Careers, finances, and relationships can all take their toll on us.
Over the past 10 years I’ve worked within clinical mental health settings providing therapeutic support and counselling. My practical and clinical experiences help me understand people from many walks of life. Birch Bay is a real human being - a family man and also a counselling practitioner.
I can appreciate the struggles of adults, couples, children, and the family as a whole. I see things from both a practical lens and a psychology lens. After years of personal and professional experiences working with adults, children, men, and women, I feel confident to help you heal a wide range of mental health/social concerns, relationship problems, and family issues. Let’s face it, most problems are complicated, but I can help and I respect that it takes courage to ask for help.
