Very weirdly one of the employees was wearing a confederate flag sewn into his pants which made me very uncomfortable. Not worth trying out, you can find a better more interesting place on the same block.

Thursday night around 9:30 pm I came into your establishment (as a first time customer) as I have heard good things and it is one of my locals. Ordered a whisky sour and a glass of cab sav. It took about 2 seconds for the drinks to arrive which is remarkably quick. A decent cocktail takes a ‘bit’longer. Coming from a foodie scene knowing the deal very well I know this. Unfortunately the drink was very poorly made. There was no alcohol in it. Either they forgot or the measurement was barely even worth it. $12?! Come on….this is not a cheap student establishment is it? Called over the young server and raised the point. She quite rudely came over and said that there was alcohol in it after speaking to the barman, what else could she say was her response….. Customer service 101 = not that! Needless to say, we did not drink the drinks, did not stay, asked for the bill and did not tip. The waitress again rudely asked if we were leaving a cash tip instead. We asked for what? We hadn’t got the service. She the said ‘she was now going to lose money’ and stomped off like a petulant teenager. It also did not go unnoticed that your bar staff seemed quite content necking shots provided my bar seated guests. All for a good time but not at patterns expense. Something you might look to address. Attitude and perhaps cocktail making refresher classes? Disappointing as we had heard this was a good place to come. Now will definitely not be visiting again.
