When they dropped the box off, they left holes in the asphalt driveway from not using blocking under the bin and from the stabilizer arm on the truck. When they were to pick it up, we asked for an AM pick up and called that morning to reconfirm. The box did not arrive until 2 pm, costing us extra for the helpers. **Thank you for responding to our concerns promptly and for crediting a part of our cost to compensate the extra costs we were faced with. We really appreciated your cooperation.

Tried to book our box drop off date months ahead and was told it was too far ahead and I should wait until 3-4 weeks before drop off. Called in a month ahead and was told that the dates I needed to have the box dropped off were already filled. We were forced to have box dropped off almost a week early. Arranging pickup, storage, drop-off at new location and final box pickup was now a longer date and outside the 1 month storage limit. I was told I would only be charged the one month because of the original drop-off date was early and the dates were so close to a month (I think 4 or 5 days over and this was part of the reason I chose to go with this company over others). Transport, storage and drop off went smoothy (except for trucks showing up early and late on both pickup and delivery) but a few days before box was picked up I was charged for another month of storage. I contacted a rep for the second time in regard to this and I was told they would speak to their manager in regard. No call was every received again from their office so we're now on the hook for $200+ more and Big Steel Box doesn't seem to care that they lied on their original quote and just took this extra money. Service reps were all polite but did little to remedy this. With everything going on trying to move our family during a pandemic fighting with the movers over this amount just wasn't possible and we just had to chose to lose this money due to more important obligations.

Amazing customer service! The drivers are great at letting you know when theyll be at your house. The office staff were able to accommodate my schedule of when i needed it picked up and dropped off even when they were very busy. They even gave me a full refund of the second month after i had the unit for 4 extra days. I would recommend Big Steel Box to anyone.

We have had the pleasure of working with this Manager for a few years and a few moves now, and He is amazing! Big Steel Box is a fantastic option for moving. The service is brilliant! Any questions answered in a quick phone call. Even during Covid the service was top notch. The people on the phone super efficient, the truck drivers polite and unhurried, the flexibility is amazing. They were beyond accommodating and all promises were met perfectly. I would highly recommend this service and wish to thank all who helped us with our move. You made it one of the most simple moves we have ever done. Great company!!

Happy about service. I asked to have my box on the ground a certain time and date, a mistake was made and a different box was put on the ground, forklift driver came and brought the right box down and we noticed poor state of my goods by my mover. Oak table not covered and against steel wall, driver gave me a blanket to cover my table. He was so accommodating. Would recommend this storage facility.

For our move across the country, after checking out our options, we contacted BigSteelBox and were fortunate enough to have Emma walk us through everything that was going to happen once we placed our order for our 20ft. container. She was so amazing to deal with: she answered all our questions, ensured we were always informed as to what was happening with the drop off, pickup and delivery of our container. The drop off at our previous home was on time and the container was placed exactly where we needed it to be on our driveway and the pickup was also on time and expertly handled. Emma called us again when our container was to be shipped out and when it arrived at it's destination, we got an email confirming it's arrival at their yard. We then hooked up with Adam to arrange for delivery of the container to our new home and he was also extremely helpful in setting this up for us. Bradley delivered the container and we were impressed as to how well he placed the container (taking into consideration where we had to unload our stuff to) in our driveway. On the day of the pickup (also set up by Emma), Bradley called ahead, gave us a time when he'd arrive (and he was right on time) and off the container went. We cannot say enough how impressed we have been with the staff at BigSteelBox from the start to the finish. When you're considering moving across the country with your house contents etc., it's a big deal but we knew that BigSteelBox was the right choice and they did an awesome job for us.
