250 meters walk from here will lead you to the lakeshore, was a fantastic place. Be aware that the path is a little bit muddy and very uneven, but that’s normal when you walk into a place which is natural enugh

This is a great place to canoe and camp. I will be back often.

It's a parking lot. Gravel. Pot holes. Lousy signage. But it gives you a place to park to access the Poker Lakes area for camping, canoeing and fishing. And there is an outhouse with toilet paper (and hand sanitizer apparently, but it was empty when I visited). Once you have parked, you still have to hike to any of the lake areas - so... it's just a parking lot for adventures ahead.

FREE FOR DAY USE.you wont find that at provincial parks. Also much cheaper than a provincial park if u want to camp. There may be a walk in campsite im not certain but i read a sign that seemed to indicate that ,if not tho its still great canoe camping .Nice beach at access point.. great scenery. beautiful for camping. Great signage unlike someone elses comment. If this parking lot is plowed in winter, im guessing this would be great area for snowshoeing or winter hiking by following the shore

Great area to canoe. Fairly quiet and beautiful scenery. An easy portage from parking lot to the put in and a large lake to explore (Big East). Across the highway also a good put in. Can park car while you unload on that side of the highway (Bentshoe) and then move car across to parking lot after unloaded. Bentshoe offers routes to other nearby lakes with campsites as well. So a little more options for traveling than on Big East.

Great parking lot, spectacular views. Approx 250m from lot to the lake, access trail is steep and rocky, was very slippery when i went as it was raining.

Close enough from my home for a nice one day kayaking escape !!! Normally quiet during the week... spent a couple of days camping and it was great!!! The only challenge was the huge amount of mosquitos and black flies... but this year has been bad everywhere I guess...

If you have an issue with beautiful scenery, solitude, ease of access and great fishing...I highly suggest you avoid this area! :)
