★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was 15 when I was sent to 4 directions. I am 19 now. I ran away from this place, by foot. It was a group of 5 girls, myself and 4 others. I can't speak on why they ran away. But I ran away because the abuse and mistreatment I felt everyday was so bad. They call themselves a Stabilization center. I left there with more problems then I went there with. The male staff member that drove me to Punnichy highschool every morning always gave me smokes, as long as I gave him kisses. Name calling and down talking were a daily thing. The staff never believed youth, so medical needs were very rarely taken seriously. I was told this place was going to help me, I was promised one phone call everyday and chances to meet with my social worker. None of that happened. The whole time I was there I called my worker once and my mother once. They took my comfort and basic needs away. No parent should ever send there children there.
